Sandra's home is very welcoming and stocked with anything you would need. The yard is beautiful, and the pool was amazing, as the weather was 95 degrees every day we were there. The location is near restaurants and stores which is convenient. We had the pleasure to meet Sandra, and she is a lovely person. We look forward to coming back in the future.

My sisters and I came here to stay for the weekend to visit some family that lives in Jacksonville. The house was so fun! We love the pool and the hot tub! The backyard was amazing and the house was so nice and fun!

The home was beautiful and spacious! There were plenty of towels and washcloths. The pool was comfortable and relaxing as well. I would highly recommend.

This was the loveliest spot. Amazing pool, nice screened in patio where my family ate dinner together. Inside was so adorable and the cutest, funniest signs. We had such a ball here during our stay and we will definitely plan to stay again in the future!! Tannis was the sweetest and was quick to respond when/if we had any questions. Her hospitality and her lovely home made us feel welcome and easy for us to just relax and enjoy ourselves. Thank you so much Tannis!!! 🥰😊🥰

What a hidden treasure! I was looking for a getaway and what I found was a Haven. It surpassed all of my expectations. So peaceful, clean, and convenient. Close to everything yet tucked away into a quiet corner. Michelle is professional yet so friendly and helpful. Any questions you may have, she has the answer. Definitely one of my favorite places that I have ever stayed in the continental US. Five stars and two thumbs up!

5 Stars – A Much-Needed Getaway with Comfort and Convenience My family and I planned to be in Jacksonville for medical appointments at the Mayo Clinic and decided to turn the trip into a bit of a getaway. We’re so glad we chose this Airbnb—it was the perfect balance of comfort, convenience, and relaxation. The house was well-appointed and had everything we needed for our stay. (Though note to self: next time, I’ll remember to bring my 13x9 pan for baking brownies!) The beds were very comfortable, and we appreciated how clean and inviting the space was. The pool was a huge plus—clean and well-maintained, with plenty of chairs for lounging and soaking up the Florida sun. The location was excellent—quiet yet convenient to everything we needed, including the Mayo Clinic. The hosts provided some great restaurant suggestions. We tried Jax Beach Brunch Haus and found it to be delightful-- great lattes, delicious pancakes. We would definitely stay here again!

Natalya’s property was very satisfying! We enjoyed the entire stay. It had everything we could possibly need, very well stocked. It was very pleasant, and gave a warming atmosphere. Everything was clean and well presented. The heated pool area was my favorite. It was a very relaxing experience! I will definitely book this property again! We had a fantastic stay! The home was clean, spacious, and incredibly comfortable—perfect for our large group. The beds were great, and everyone slept well. Located in a safe, quiet neighborhood that made us feel right at home. Would definitely come back!

Hey, I'm not one to do surveys or yelp but it's was the reviews that actually made me make the decision to book this home. So I'm here to say, "Don't think about it, just do it!" We are from Hawaii and came to Florida for a high school graduation at Fleming Island. Back home we are all Ohana (Family). We get together, plan and help one another to prepare for an occasion or event. This home has far exceeded our expectation and I would like to thank both John & Andrea for giving us the opportunity to be a part of it. Upon our departure, I have reached out to our hosts and requests if they would allow us the opportunity to come back in three years. We have another graduation coming up. If you are looking for a home to stay, look no further. This is it :0)

The place was amazing and such a cute little spot! Was quiet and clean and perfect for what we needed! The only suggestion I have for the owners is to let everyone know the bathroom is attached to the king sized room! Especially if you have other guest with you, you will have to share a bathroom with whoever is in the king room! Everything else was perfect and we had a great time!

We really enjoyed our stay at The Gathering Place as we were in the area for a few days for our oldest grandson's graduation from a nearby high school. The home had a nice layout, was very well decorated and had a lot of amenities included: a completely equipped kitchen, a wide variety of coffees, a full compliment of spices (although we did not cook there due to wanting to sample the local cuisine), plentiful towels for both the bathrooms and the kitchen, extra bedding, such as comforters and blankets, a washer and dryer with laundry detergent provided and even a stocked first aid kit, which I'm happy to say, wasn’t needed. It really felt like home! The four bedroom home was just the right size for the six of our out-of-town family members who stayed overnight there and the other three local family members who dropped in daily from nearby Orange Park. The large driveway and having access to the garage to park away from the searing sun were both pluses. Everything was as advertised.

Courtney's home is charming and clean. She and Levi had excellent communication before and during our stay. They were able to accommodate an early arrival. We highly recommend their place if you want to be in the Mandarin area.

Such a beautiful home for all ages! We loved swimming in the lake every morning and the ease of the open floor home. It was very clean and we had everything we needed for our stay! We will definitely be back

EXCELLENT communication. Beautiful, Comfortable Home! Central air was nice. Comfortable beds, Ample seating throughout. The bedding, bathrooms, kitchen, fridge, stove, oven, and the swimming pool were all very clean. No worries of pests, or mosquitoes with the screened in pool area. It made for a worry free leisure weekend. Plenty of linens and towels with the convenience of a washer/dryer. The kitchen was stocked with most essentials. Pots, pans, mugs, glasses, cups, plates, silverware, etc. The fridge and cabinets were spacious. There were coffee pods & tea with a Duel Pot/Pod Keurig for brewing. There was sugar, creamers and other kitchen essentials like olive oil and some basic spices. Plenty of FUN things to entertain both adults & children. Corn hole, Huge Connect 4, Darts, Board games, The Casino games, Pool, & Pool Table were highlights. Quiet-even with a train here n there. Private, Safe, Clean, Spacious and FUN house to getaway, I HIGHLY recommend this house! TY Alana.

We had a lovely weekend here! The home was exactly as described - extremely clean too. The neighborhood is very quiet and peaceful. We enjoyed walking the loop and spotting the unusual ducks. This is a great to stay home, especially if you have children with you. Host was amazing and very flexible with our check in which was so appreciated. Would definitely stay here again!

This was our second year in a row that I rented the place. My nieces live up by there. One graduated last year. One graduated this year. The place was simply amazing. There was a lot to do. It was big enough to host guests. I would recommend this place to anyone. Whether it’s with friends or family. I had both there. It did not disappoint either time. The pool was great, the games were great, the house overall was great.

Can’t say more amazing things about this place. Our family has come back for the second time and have already made plans to come back. It’s our slice of heaven. Quick drive to the beach and the food and coffee walking distance from the house is so so good! Go to community loaves for fresh sourdough. But honestly you could stay at the house and never leave. Between the perfect pool, playing pool outside, and watching my kids try and catch lizards - this place is so special to us! You won’t regret it!
