It is equipped with modern conveniences and is an ideal accommodation for families and groups of friends up to 12 people, even in the winter. The ship is located in the cozy fortified town of Muiden, just 20 minutes from Amsterdam. The unique location on the Vecht river makes it possible to combine the tranquility of the water and the coziness of a picturesque fortified town with a visit to Amsterdam.

Deze prachtige tjalk van 120 jaar oud vaart in de zomer uit en in de winter biedt zij ruimte aan maximaal 12 gasten. Het historische zeilschip ligt aan de pittoreske Herengracht in hartje Muiden en heeft uitzicht op het Muiderslot. Muiden is een prima uitvalsbasis voor een bezoek aan Amsterdam. The deck-house and wheelhouse in the back of a former sailing cargo-ship van 1888 is transformed into a small apartment . The rest of the boat is a shop with sailing / marine equipment and a bunker station. The entrance is due to the age of the ship a small steep stair, keep that in mind. The surrounding is a lively harbor with sail-ships and cruise-ships. There is a parking available for €5 - a night very closeby. So enjoy the sound and movements of the water!

My place is close to the city center, art and culture, and great views. You'll love my place because of the view, the atmosphere, the outdoors space, and the location. The place is suitable for couples and solo adventurers. Sleeping on a sailboat gives a sense of freedom. Amsterdam is not easily accessible by 50 cars. I would be happy to give you tips on an affordable day in Amsterdam. The former island of Schokland is 10 minutes by car from our place.
