"Friends at Bingil" Mission Beach, rainforest view

RachelRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
We had a wonderful two months stay at Gemma and Karen’s place. It was a home from home while we looked for a permanent home and we had everything we needed. The house was well set up with everything we needed for a long term stay and a couple of issues we had were dealt with quickly by our amazing hosts. A bbq was quickly replaced when the burners went faulty and our hosts were great at checking up with us to see how we were. After a two month stay and social interactions with our hosts at the local Bingal Bay cafe (which is a great community hub) we consider the hosts as good friends too! The house is just 500m from one of the most glorious beaches in the area and we had the most relaxing time enjoying a home that we considered our home for the stay. Thank you Karen and Gemma for making our stay as relaxing as possible. We hope to see the family around the Mission Beach area now we have decided to stay here rather than head to a bigger city. Best wishes Joe & Rachel

Treetops Sanctuary - Luxury Treehouse pole home

KatherineRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this gorgeous space! The home private and tranquil, situated well off the road with no neighbours to be seen or heard. It has multiple outstanding outdoor spaces including a lovely back lawn overlooking the mountains and cattle paddocks. We enjoyed long evenings with a bottle of wine around the fire pit. The indoor spaces are thoroughly thought out, the kitchen was well equipped, and the beds were comfortable. The “log home” atmosphere felt beautiful and cozy. The home was exceptionally clean and well presented. Thank you for the thoughtful addition of milk and fruit. We went in winter and it was perfect. I’d highly recommend for anyone looking for a cozy winter getaway. I’m not one hundred percent sure if the home has air conditioning, so if you are travelling in summer maybe that’s something to clarify. Thank you, we would love to stay again!

Boutique Bungalows, King bed/ Wildlife Sanctuary.

We enjoyed two very relaxed days whilst staying at Boutique Bungalows. The bungalow was exceptionally clean & we were left a welcome basket of various fruits ,a selection of snacks , breakfast cereals, milk , orange juice and yoghurts ( a lovely surprise) Enjoyed a swim under the canopy of rainforest trees, watching butterflys & listening to the birds. A really peaceful spot to stay in Mission beach.

Rainforest Cabin

VincentRating, 5 stars1 month ago
we had a wonderful stay at Selena and Glenn's. beautifully situated haven of peace in the heart of the rainforest and a stonethrow away from the beaches. place was tidy, homy and matched the description. lovely touches of fresh water, fruits and chocolates prepared by the host. we didn't have a chance to meet Selena who was away but had fascinating discussions with Glenn, a super person to meet. Selena was also super reactive and proactive by email. only positives, I thoroughly recommend staying with this charming couple!

Calo Jungle Camp

If you’re looking for an off the beaten track rainforest experience this is it. Sandra’s description is bang on and she provided accurate directions which made finding the place a breeze. We were greeted on arrival, given a tour & even a jar of honey to enjoy with our tea. There are cassowaries roaming which my children really enjoyed. I would stay again for sure and recommend this listing to anyone wanting a unique camping experience.
