Ninho dos Avós is a quiet retreat located in the beautiful rural parish of Santa Bárbara, which belongs to the municipality of Angra do Heroísmo. Here you can enjoy country life and its tranquility. You will have magnificent views of the verdant countryside with the sea in the background, and you can also see the neighboring islands of Pico and São Jorge. Ninho dos Avós, as the name implies, was the house where our grandparents lived, here we have many good memories and where we were happy with them and did not know.

You will find pets, our guests will be able to use the entire house and outdoor leisure area. Here, a family or a group of friends have everything they could want for an unforgettable holiday.

LUZZ me - Santa Bárbara 1

This is the first of a set of rustic houses rehabilitated in 2019/20, giving rise to 5 modern apartments, decorated with solid wood and lamps from Bali. The aim was to create an informal, unpretentious environment, but at the same time refined and welcoming. In the central area, there is a porch, a common area, where you can have meals and rest outdoors. Santa Bárbara is a peaceful village from where you can see the sea and the mountain with the same name, and an ideal place to rest.

Cozy cottage in Terceira Island

The Cozy Cottage is a small house built within our property, in a very well-located area, close to the island’s best spots. It is a simple and welcoming space designed to make you feel at home during your stay. With spacious and comfortable areas, it is ideal for resting and enjoying peaceful moments, whether you are traveling with family, as a couple, or with friends. We have a large garden and an outdoor swimming pool, that you can enjoy at any time during your stay :)

CASA DA EIRA

Casa da Eira is a country house, inserted in the rural environment of vegetable gardens and animals. It is located in the parish of São Bartolomeu, 5 minutes from two seaside resorts, the port of Cinco Ribeiras and Negrito, and 10 minutes from the World Heritage city of Angra do Heroísmo. With a large space, with a garden, vegetable gardens, a barbecue area and even a chicken coop, where you can observe our chickens and taste the wonderful eggs they lay.

Quinta Rico (AL)

Come and enjoy the Terceira Island in a calm and cozy place like Quinta Rico. Quinta Rico is a rebuilt family home, with all the amenities and a privileged view of the sea. You can stroll through its orchards where you can find a variety of fruit trees, as well as small vegetable gardens and some animals such as chickens, peacocks, turkeys and rabbits. Guests have access to a generous swimming pool with heated Jacuzzi and an outdoor sauna.

Quinta de São Brás

It is a border space to a Ribeira and inserted in the Regional Agricultural Reserve. With lots of privacy, where the birds the goats and the cows will be the most likely neighborhood. There is a vegetable garden, with free access to guests, which can be harvested from the leaves for tea, such as produce and fruit. It also has a regional wood oven, characteristic of the Azorean Houses, where you can make everything the Earth gives us.
