The Garden Retreat is a self contained dwelling, at the end of our garden. In a quiet residential area of Dorchester, in the summer there may be some noise from the surrounding gardens. Access from the road, leads directly to the Garden Retreat. We are in easy walking distance (about 10 minutes) from the centre of Dorchester. here you will find Cafes, restaurants and shops Dorchester is an historic town, with many place of interest. No Visitors. No smoking or vaping, on the premises. No pets.

Romantic Shepherds hut with private garden

Nestled in a quiet wooded corner of our garden on the edge of the village of Martinstown. Fully self contained, the hut has everything you need inside and is in a great central location, close to Dorchester and just a short drive to Weymouth and Chesil beach. The towns amenities are all within a short walking distance, including the new 'Brewery Square' development. No 11 is a beautiful cosy cottage situated on a village green opposite the church. Surrounded by plenty of stunning countryside walks, historic towns, village pubs with the Jurassic coast only a few minutes drive away,. There is lots to explore whether you want a relaxing countryside escape, visits to museums, places from Thomas Hardy’s novels or stunning coastal walks. There is a large enclosed garden at the rear and is a 4 minute walk into town which has good train and bus links.

Troytown Farm Bespoke Shepherd's Hut

A bespoke shepherd's hut, made by a local craftsman residing on rolling pasture of a forgotten turf maze and meeting place lost in time. Welcome to the first Troytown shepherd's hut, completed in June 2023. Located on Dorset's famous Jurassic Coastline it is the perfect base for exploring sandy beaches, historic monuments and plentiful walks in nearby Puddletown Forest. Enjoy an off grid experience with views of ancient woodland and sheep grazed pasture.
