Apartment holiday rentals in Forest Lodge

Overall, great location, which felt safe, nice apartment, everything I needed, Chinda was prompt with responses to my queries. One issue: it wasn't clear that the apartment was at the top of a staircase. This would be good to know. The stair case is open to the air, but covered. It was raining when I was there and this could have caused a slipperiness problem (but didn't, for me). Just a general note, especially for people with mobility issues.

Chris was one of the most gracious and accommodating Airbnb hosts I’ve ever encountered. He generously offered an early check-in and late check-out at no extra cost, making my stay even more seamless. The property is ideally located in the heart of Newtown—a studio, yet surprisingly spacious and thoughtfully designed. Every amenity one could possibly need is provided, with carefully curated gadgets and essentials placed for utmost convenience. A comprehensive instruction manual, complete with detailed information and maps, ensures a hassle-free experience. The added perk of free underground parking was a fantastic bonus. I wholeheartedly recommend Chris’s place for an exceptional stay.

Bikash was a very welcoming host and provided very clear instructions to check-in. The unit was located in a very accessible neighbourhood and it was easy to walk or take the light rail to the CBD. The unit also came equipped with everything you could need for a long stay, including a laundry machine, and clean. Bikash was very responsive through the stay and helpful.

Great place to stay. Location perfect for walking to shops, restaurants, parks and Darling Harbour. Comfortable beds and excellent facilities.

Janelle’s place was in a fabulous location on Darling Road shopping strip - home to boutiques, restaurants and cafe’s and chemists and Woolies - super convenient. We also enjoyed gorgeous views over rooftops and of Sydney and the Harbour Bridge. Her apartment was light filled, tastefully furnished and had a fabulous stock of amenities and toiletries.

We absolutely loved the house, had the best sleep ever. Super cool set up and very clean, cosy place, felt like being at home. A very lovely, spotless, comfortable, bright and quiet apartment close to the park and waterfront. I really appreciated the private parking spot. James was super helpful and very understanding when I was delayed checking out, which was also very much appreciated. I'd happily stay here again.

The place was great, very well decorated, clean, had everything we needed. It’s a place that makes you feel at home. It’s very safe, a beautiful patio with plants, and even a little pond with some fishes in the entrance. The kitchen had everything one needs. Justin is a greast host , super kind and super helpful. We soent a whole week there , got so used to the place I didn’t want to live the place, lol. I would recommend the place to everyone.

We had a lovely stay! The home is in a great location, within walking distance to yummy restaurants and sightseeing. It’s also on a quieter street that was easy to find. It’s overall we had comfortable night stay. Thank you :)

I am a solo traveller and I stayed for 8 days. Rodney was there to meet me and showed me how to use all the appliances. The kitchen was well stacked, which I hadn’t seen before in any airbnb. From eggs, bread, milk, soft drinks, coffee pods, butter, breakfast spreads, cereal etc. The place was very clean. Locantro Bakery is moments away serving the best coffee and pasties in Leichhardt. Bus stop outside the building and 10 minutes into central. Very handy location and a very spacious homely apartment, with everything you need. Thank you Rodney for the flexibility, much appreciated. 🙏

Cosy, comfortable, quirky, surprisingly quiet and in a great location. Loved being able to walk everywhere and use public transport. Also enjoyed cafes, bookshops, the Harbourside, and excellent fish and chips nearby at The Toxteth pub! Tanya was also so responsive, helpful and flexible, which made my stay seamless and easy. This was perfect for my needs and I would definitely stay here again.

Fredericos home was wonderful! The balcony and views are amazing and the location is fab. We managed to lock our phone in the house as we were leaving and Frederico was so helpful in us getting back in!

This place is one of my favourite areas to stay in. Its within walking distance of so many things to do and great places to eat. Its a safe place and the room was lovely and quiet.

Coco’s place was perfect, great location and everything we needed for a Sydney city stay. The apartment has everything we needed which made or stay super easy. Coco met us and checked us in and is a fantastic host.

Rita was an excellent host! Offered lots of suggestions of places to see and things to do. The place was nicely decorated and felt very clean. The bed was comfy. It had everything you would need (chargers, slippers, q-tips, etc.) The location was perfect. Walking distance to most things or the train station was less than 5 minute walk. I would totally stay here again, it felt like home away from home. Felt very safe.

This place is excellent for excursions into the CBD. Public transportation is close and will get you everywhere else. For the price and amenities it’s hard to beat. We’ll definitely stay here again when we come through!
