We encourage you to enjoy coffee on the dock in the morning! Views from the house vary with the season due to the leaves on the trees. The lake is always beautiful.

At face value, IG: @theadkchalet appears to be just a humble little getaway tucked in the Adirondack Mountains of Jay, NY (Lake Placid Area). But even the most discerning guests will be quickly spirited away by the rustic charm and secluded forest feel. The Chalet sleeps 4 people and has two bedrooms and one bathroom. The Chalet is located approx. 4.5hrs from NYC by car and is the perfect place to: escape the city, rekindle a romance, ski/ride Whiteface Mountain, hike, fish and so much more!

Magical Treehouse

Sleep up in the trees in our cozy Magical Treehouse. This place is the perfect base camp for your next adventure, or a unique spot to curl up with a good book. The perfect place to be in the woods, but not isolated. Cook your meals in the nearby cookhouse (40’ away, unheated) on a camp stove or over an open campfire. A heated bathroom/shower is 20’ away. We provide you with linens, cookware, plus help you plan your trip. Property includes miles of hiking trails and beautiful places to explore!

Unplug and unwind in this renovated mid-century-modern inspired house on Lake Champlain in the Adirondack Park. Enjoy privacy and nature on the 3.5 acre lot with 200 feet of shore. The bedrooms each have en-suite bathrooms. Relax in the soaking tub and watch a movie. Sink into an Adirondack chair, take in Mount Mansfield and be on the lookout for deer and other wildlife. Take a short hike through a cedar forest down to the shore. The house also serves as an art gallery for local artists.

This bright, spacious apartment features a private bathroom, outdoor hot tub, private entrance and two private decks. The apartment is located on the second floor of our beloved farmhouse. Enjoy the views from the outdoor hot tub or the south-facing deck or enjoy miles of walking trails through our pasture and forest. Tons of detail, while keeping the design natural and simple. Unbelievable views of Camels hump State park. A loft with one queen bed and downstairs has a queen bed with three sides of the bed having windows facing the views. Hiking offered right from the cabin. An awesome getaway!
