Holiday rentals with lake access in Fort Washington

A group of four of us stayed over a weekend for the LIV golf tournament is Gainesville, VA. The house was pretty easy to find and located in a great central area. Directions to the house and check in instruction were clear. The home was clean and everything worked well. It felt like a mix of an old homey cabin with modern features. The overlook of Lake Jackson makes for a peaceful and calm atmosphere. Each morning we enjoyed a cup of coffee while overlooking the lake and listening the wildlife. Even saw a few bald eagles flying over the lake. Overall, our stay was great and Karen was helpful and responsive with any questions/requests we had. 5 out of 5 would stay again.

Aquia Creek Lodge was beautiful and peaceful. Our host (Hunter) was very communicative and the home matched its description. My family stayed at Aquia Creek Lodge while we laid my father to rest at Quantico National Cemetery and the home provided a perfect place to gather with family. The setting was gorgeous and peaceful, the house was tidy and the kitchen was well equipped. I would definitely recommend this home for rental.

Great stay in a perfect location for us right in the heart of Kentlands, in easy walking distance of restaurants, shops, and services while still being in a quiet and pretty residential neighborhood. Colleen was super responsive when we needed something and was quick to reach out when something came up shortly before our arrival, and always offered to take care of everything we needed. 100% would stay again when in the area.

Tristan’s home was gorgeous!! We were only able to stay one night, and it was the perfect location. We had our baby with us, so it was nice to have two restaurants that were walking distance. Everything was clean and the view was INCREDIBLE - we saw a pod of dolphins in the river, many fish, and even sting rays right next to the dock! And talk about an amazing sunrise view right from the living room!!! 🤩. If you’re looking for a local contemporary getaway; THIS IS THE PLACE TO GO! We will absolutely plan on coming back!

This was a very nice place to stay for our family trip to DC. The Metro was a very easy walk and Jagan gave us some great recommendations for local restaurants as well. He was also great at answering our questions.

Easy check in, house was in great shape, everything as described. We loved walking to the little restaurants across the street and through the park.

We had an amazing stay at this charming farmhouse w our young kids and elderly parents! The property was perfect for a relaxing getaway that we all needed. The chickens were a delight, and collecting fresh eggs was a unique experience. I cant tell you how much my kids love it. The pond added a serene touch, and the outdoor movie setup was a fantastic way to end our days. The host Hannah were incredibly welcoming and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed. She is so pleasant to work with and very responsive. She sent us the local recommended restaurant list and we love them all. We did a day trip to Washington DC easily from this location. Highly recommend this place for a peaceful retreat! Such an amazing airbnb stay and we will come back.

This was probably one of the best Airbnbs I’ve stayed in. It was great 😊. Looked like the photos and we had plenty of space. Came here with a group of friends and they all said it was all too great!

Isabella, has a great place. She is an outstanding host. Her place was very clean and comfortable…like home. Everything we needed was there. It was close to everything. Only downside was the privacy of the entrance to the suite. There was shear curtains that covered the door entrance. Other than that she is a super host. Thank you so much for allowing us to stay at your beautiful property.

If I could give 10 stars I would! Monique’s place was one of the best stays I’ve ever had on Airbnb. Extremely clean rooms, the beds are very comfortable, fast and easy communication from her. I couldn’t ask for any better. She is a very thoughtful host, and I would recommend this place to anyone.

The location is amazing and Norelle is a fantastic host. The room/bathroom are spacious with plenty of storage, and there is a lot of natural lighting. Norelle responded quickly to my questions and went out of her way to help me feel at home. I will definitely be staying here again!

To be honest all the reviews about it being to loud isn’t tru it was quiet to me and clean I was comfortable there it’s was lots of space for my kiddo to run around in as well Ernest and his wife are very kind people would stay there agin I have nothing bad to say at all oh and the neighborhood is super quiet love that to

Absolutely beautiful location. Incredibly peaceful and quiet being so close to so many attractions and amenities. The apartment was bright, spacious, and private.
