Big Cane Farms

The pictures look nice, but it's even nicer in person. I had high expectations and it still exceeded them. If you need a quiet, secluded get away with your family, this is your spot. Very very spacious, and the beds were comfortable. The Lake is beautiful and the grass is green and well kept.

Heron's Cove, with dock and kayaks

CarolynRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Beautiful and comfortable home. Great kitchen and well stocked. The grill was a hit allowing us to grill burgers/sausage for family. Plenty of towels, garbage bags, toilet paper, paper towels just to name a few items to make our stay perfect. The coffee bar and waffle set up was fantastic. We enjoyed our stay and will definitely return.

River’s Edge- Outdoorsman Cabin on the River

RickRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We stayed at The Point for my birthday weekend, and it was absolutely enchanting! Nestled along the beautiful Amite River, the campground offered the perfect mix of peace, comfort, and adventure. Everything was incredibly clean and cozy, making it easy to relax and enjoy the surroundings. Misty and Chris, the owners, were warm, welcoming, and beyond helpful throughout our stay. You can tell they’ve put their hearts into this place—it shows in every thoughtful detail. There are so many great amenities at The Point! We spent time rock hounding, swimming, and kayaking—one of the highlights of our trip. It was such a peaceful and fun experience with stunning views along the river. Nature trails and bird watching are also available for those looking to explore even more. We’re already talking about when we can come back. I’d give this place ten stars if I could. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a unique, nature-filled getaway with wonderful hosts!

Sanctuary Creek

BritniRating, 5 stars1 month ago
What a beautiful, tranquil place - a sanctuary as the name says! Our kids (9 and 3) loved walking and playing in the creek. We loved the screen porch and had all our meals and lounging time there. Panoramic beautiful scenery from the living room, the screened porch, and upstairs. Cabin was cozy and clean. Beds and furniture were very comfy. They also had some toys and a fun puzzle for the kids. Also have to note the great book selection - for the kiddos in the loft upstairs, and for nature loving adults on the shelves downstairs. We got a little mixed up finding the place at first (google maps address was off), but still were able to find it easily once going down the road based on the mailbox #s. We had a lovely spring weekend here, and look forward to returning!

Camellia Cottage in charming St. Francisville!

TeresaRating, 5 stars2 months ago
Camelia Cottage is a little gem. It is located close to lots of activities but has a wonderful secluded feel that's great to come back to at the end of the day. Beautiful grounds to walk and a cute covered front porch for sitting were great for morning coffee and afternoon visits. Kaylee was a sweetheart and quick to answer any questions that we had and also offered great advise for things to do. I appreciate that Camelia Cottage is pet friendly and allows me to bring by best buddy with me.
