We loved this house. First- I want to express how nice Kristin is. When we arrived early after a 9 hour drive she let us check in early and responded very rapidly to any inquiries I had. My kids spent hours playing with all the toys provided and the fenced in back yard was great for them to play in. The community pool was the cherry on top. We went every day and met some of the nicest neighbors! This area is very safe and convenient. 15 mins to Lewes beach, 20 to Rehoboth and 20 to Henlopen state park. My kids loved the Movie at Midway (10 min drive), the water parks (15 min drive) and Funland (20 mins) and a trampoline park (10 mins). The kitchen was fully stocked and had non stick pans that were NOT SCRATCHED! (That’s rare for Airbnb’s) We cooked every single night at home and lacked for nothing. I would rate this 100 stars if I could!

Serena was great to deal with and communicated effectively with us. Unfortunately, the weekend was rainy weather, but the neighborhood amenities were able to keep our young children entertained. The neighborhood is very friendly and all the neighbors were pleasant. We look forward to staying here again in the future.

I could not be happier with the overall experience. Amy responded immediately and in detail to all questions. The home was beautiful and very well maintained.

Let's see...if Martha Stewart had a rental cottage, it would look just like Lisa and Jay's carriage house. Everything from the splendid charcuterie board and Prosecco on ice that awaited us upon our arrival to the beautifully designed cottage and wonderful gardens helped create an amazing vacation that we will not forget anytime soon. Jay and Lisa truly paid attention to every detail right down to the perfectly placed English antiques, fresh cut flowers and towels so thick you could drown in them. Nothing was missing and their hospitality made you feel right at home. We had smiles on our face the entire time! This is now my new Happy place. The gold standard by which every rental will be judged....perfect hosts, perfect place..like I said...Martha Stewart. Thank you Lisa and Jay for making our stay a wonderful experience!! We will definitely be back to your Lewes Carriage House whenever possible!

This is a great property! The house is gorgeous, the grounds are clean, kept and very private. The house was fully stocked with kitchenware, pool accessories, & decorated tastefully. A lot of delicate artwork and intentional decor- (if traveling with a young child, one needs to watch them closely :) Re: the beds- my 7 year old described it as “sleeping on clouds!” - very comfy! The area is close (2-3 min) to outlet shops and a bunch of restaurants on Costal Highway 1 and about a 6 min drive to the Rehoboth pier. It’s also a central location to other neighboring beach towns.

We had an absolutely amazing stay! The location was very convenient to the beach, great local restaurants and shops. The house itself was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing vacation. We traveled with young kids and they felt very comfortable in this home. Ron, our host, was incredibly responsive and thoughtful, providing clear check-in instructions and great local recommendations. It’s clear he really cares about creating a welcoming and enjoyable experience. If you're looking for a peaceful and memorable vacation home, this is the place. We can’t wait to come back!

we had such a great experience staying here! we felt right at home, it was comfortable, relaxing and especially clean!! a perfect distance to the beach and for a day trip to OC, MD! bethany beach is one of our favorite spots to stay and we would recommend this stay with Laura and Bri to anyone!!

This was the most beautiful condo we have stayed in. The decor was lovely and a beautiful welcome basket was even left for us. The owners checked on us and were very responsive if we had a question. They left helpful information about the community, and it was a perfect place to stay. We would strongly recommend renting this condo!

Great spot for out guys golf trip. Right down the road from Bear Trap Dunes. Good space outdoors so you aren’t stuck inside or forced to go out somewhere to do activities.

My family and I had a wonderful stay and we highly recommend to everyone looking to stay in this area! The home was spotless, comfortable, and smartly decorated. The rooms and kitchen/dining area are spacious. We enjoyed relaxing in the sunroom, it’s truly peaceful and private. We didn’t get to use the firepit, but will be next time. The neighborhood was quiet—nice for relaxing after a day in the sun. There’s a pool/tennis court in the neighborhood that is super clean and you can walk to from the house. The home is ~15 minute drive from Bethany Beach and ~25 to Rehoboth Beach. Also, a super easy checkout which you don’t always find with vacation rentals! We’d definitely love to stay here again and plan to!!!!

The house was IMMACULATE! Beds were very comfortable with plenty of pillows. Deck at the rear of the house was perfect for that morning cup of coffee. The house is close to food markets and a variety of restaurants. Beaches are close by. Kayla returned all texts very quickly. On line pictures are accurate. You will not be disappointed with this property!

My husband and I want to relocate to Delaware from Florida. We booked this place cause it was in close proximity to where we were researching, Rehoboth, Lewes and Milsboro. This place was spacious, clean and comfortable. We felt right at home. The block was quiet and the neighbors friendly. We didnt have anyone else with us but the house has plenty of room for more people. I highly recommend this place.

This place will make you feel right at home in a safe neighborhood! We came down to go boating and there is a boat launch minutes away. Also restaurants and grocerie stories only about 10 minutes away. Easy to check in and very comfortable!

It's a lovely house in a tranquil setting with lots of birding opportunities, biking and a 10 minute walk (or 1 minute drive) to Slaughter Beach. Great indoor space plus a screened porch for dining alfresco and other porches/decks for relaxing. We also visited Broadkill Beach which is a 15 minute drive. Lewes or Rehoboth beaches are closer to 25 minutes.

We needed a place to stay while we transitioned to Delaware. This was the perfect place for us. It was close to the beach, comfortable, very quite, and everyone was so friendly. We felt like we were at home even if it was a temporary stop. There was plenty of space and things we needed to make our stay smooth. Shane and Erin were helpful and wonderful hosts, they let us know of upcoming event's and if there was anything we should be aware of. I would recommend this place to couples or families. We stayed during the holidays and it felt magical to be there during this time.

We spent a lovely long weekend at this home with family for a wedding. The home was exactly as described; extremely clean, welcoming and decor was beautiful. It was in a perfect location to walk to the beach in addition to being close & convenient to town. The hostess was wonderful to work with; friendly and quick in responses. Work highly recommended to others and would most definitely stay here again!!

Jessica was very helpful and pleasant to communicate with. We came down for a concert series and did not want to stay right in the beach. Jessica’s place was the perfect ride away but perfect for us, quiet and peaceful. Thank you Jessica!

This place was easy to find and very quiet. Enough space and easy to get to outlets and beach. I did reach out about the home not being as clean as it should be in hopes that the cleaners would do a better job. Did receive a response back quickly and they appreciated me letting them know.

Loved the cottage, great location, extremely clean, cute back and front porch, well-stocked. Close to the beach and to town, convenient parking. We had a wonderful time and would love to stay again!

Overall we loved our stay. Check-in was easy and went off without a hitch. The house was perfect for our family and exactly as described and pictured. It was very neat and clean. The large kitchen was well stocked with all items that we needed and the mutliple fridges were very useful! The proximity to the beach was a huge plus. Very nice, quiet location at the top of Ocean City away from the hustle and bustle but still with many walkable stores, restaurants and entertainment options. Very great find.

Janice’s house was lovely! Great location. It looks just like the pictures. The view from the living room and back deck is stunning. The house was very tidy. Janice communicated well and promptly. The only disappointment was that there is no screen door in the master bedroom, and therefore, I couldn’t enjoy leaving the sliding doors open, which I love to do when staying in a waterfront home. Otherwise, we had a wonderful stay! Would definitely recommend!
