Family-friendly holiday rentals in Franklin County

This cozy cabin had everything we needed and the directions were excellent too. This is a peaceful, laid back comfortable cabin and what we wanted. The hot water is actually hot which is new for us at an Airbnb. The bed was comfortable and much needed after our days on the trails. The couch is also comfortable. I highly recommend True Romance Cabin and Blue Creek Cabins! Will definitely stay again!

Place was great. Master tub gave me motivation to put one of them in my house lol . It was raining so the roads was a little messy but over all was a great time . The wifi worked great !

A perfect get away for my daughter’s wedding in the area. Very convenient and the property was amazing. Very good place to relax in between the wedding activities. The brownies made it like we were staying with family, very nice touch.

We had an amazing time at Jeff's cabin. It was very clean and very quite. Jeff is a wonderful host and was there if we needed anything.

We loved the place everything was nice and cleaned we loved the hot tubs just be prepared to fill your tank up before u come to Helen or near by it was fantastic and she was definitely great

This place is really nice and the price is perfect for the place imo, me and my boyfriend stayed one night here for our 5th year anniversary and it was honestly so amazing including the view from indoor/outdoor, the hot tub, the king sized bed, the jacuzzi, and everything! We really wish we could’ve stayed longer! The host Laura k. Is an excellent host and great with communication! It really felt like you could ask her about anything and she wouldn’t mind answering which was something we both loved! She even helped me book the place when I was having trouble doing so (this is the first time I’ve rented on air bnb) but overall this place and the host are amazing and we plan on coming back one day!! Lovely house on the river with an eclectic collection of art and sculpture. This house has everything you need for a weekend away - a great kitchen to cook in, outdoor grill and hot tub and proximity to a river that is perfect for floating although with exhilarating rapids at points along the float. You may need to bring your own tubes as there were only 3 or 4 at the house. The neighbor was so great as well helping us out.

From the time we booked the host was accommodating and responsive. We had a group of 14 in town for an alumni event and we all had plenty of of space in the cabin, we enjoyed all of the amenities like the pool table, hot tub, and fire pit. We had a blast here and would highly recommend it!

Our stay at Stephanies was everything we had hoped for. At arrival there was just a feel of comfort . Parking is very close for unloading and loading vehicles and should i add plenty enough space for parking several vehicles even if bringing your boat. The large screened porch was awesome for sitting and enjoying the view with mornimg coffee and perfect for playing cornhole as we waited for rain to move though. We really enoyed the covered dock as well . Can hold two boats and plenty of space for many eager fishermen . It would be a blessing for Sreohanie to allow our family to return next year. Scotty's cabin is fantastic! The rooms were impeccably clean. The kitchen had every utensil you could ever want. We really enjoyed the game room/man cave. It was a big hit! The cabin is a the very top of the mountain and has the best scenic drive. We would definitely recommend this place to others!

I’m thrilled we found Aunt Helen’s place in Walhalla, SC. Home is perfect for a long weekend with friends and family. You feel at home when you walk in and it’s a very comfortable stay. We spent a lot of time on the porch swing enjoying the perfect weather. Did some walking around Walhalla shopping and eating in local restaurants. Great place to visit we’ll be back. We’ll be back the host are wonderful!!

Perfect spot for our somewhat last minute getaway. Secluded and quiet, but close to several towns if you want to have supper or listen to a little music. The water right off the dock is deep and swimmable, and the kayaks are great for an easy trip to the main channel of Lake Hartwell. The house itself is beautiful, and comfortable(an important combination). Very clean, with all the necessities that are often absent in vacation rentals(lake towels! coffee filters! salt!). We really loved this lake cabin, and can’t wait to go back.

My family absolutely enjoyed our stay. The view was amazing! The kitchen had everything you could need to cook our meals. The house had ample space for our family of 6. A bonus was the down stairs. It’s like having your own apartment downstairs with access to the backyard and a wonderful little picnic table. We really enjoyed ourselves and look forward to coming back again very soon.

A perfect sized get away retreat that has a dock in a quiet cove that remained calm morning to night. Great place to watch the sun rise and set. The host was amazing, with well written and described instructions along with fast responses to any questions. Everything in the house was well maintained and came equipped with the little things that I always forget, like zip locked bags and coffee filters! Thank you, Tony! L

We had a long term stay while renovations were made to our house. The cottage is timeless. The kitchen is small but to me it was perfect with the chef’s stove. The cottage itself is full of history. I would sit in the living room trying to imagine the people who walked in the house over the last couple of centuries. Check out the history and explore the grounds and other buildings. There’s a folder with a brief history of the property and local places to explore, restaurants, and other spots of interest. The cities of Westminster, Seneca, and Clemson are nearby. All the people are very friendly and gave us that hometown feeling. We had Christmas while there and our kids loved it too. Walking to the creek was beautiful in the winter. With snow on the ground it was like walking through a post card. One of my favorite things was relaxing on the porch watching the cattle. Durema was so kind and very attentive. She even invited me to coffee which was so nice. We hated to leave.

Our family enjoyed our time at Leslie’s place. Perfect location for our family trip for Clemson graduation. We had enough space and the ground floor made it perfect for the older folks. Strongly recommend staying here if visiting Clemson for any reason. If you have a specific bed requirement, you should note both the mattress and pillows were very soft. As someone who prefers a sturdier pillow and firmer mattress, I did end up using a different pillow my daughter brought us from her apartment. Outside of that I can’t say enough good things about our experience. Would 100% stay here again. Leslie is lovely.

We had a wonderful stay and felt right at home. Our host even stocked the fridge with breakfast foods for us!

Wow! What an awesome home! Natalie was so accommodating and quick to respond! When we arrived, we were surprised at how much bigger the house was in person! The kitchen and amazing screened in porch is where we spent the majority of our time! The beautiful Lake Jocassee Is only about 40 mins away and definitely worth the drive! Thank you so much Natalie!!! We hope to be back for another friendcation next year!!!

Our family of 5 couples and 2 small children loved our stay at Sunsets and Siestas. The home has lots of space, the family suite was a big hit, the master suite is beautiful and spacious, the kitchen very well appointed and the decks, patios are excellent. We used the boat slip including the lift as well as the kayaks and paddleboards. The home had everything we needed and then some. We would definitely return.

This was an amazing experience. I started communicating with John 13 months before my sons wedding to stay there plus host a large rehearsal dinner. ( it grew to 80 people!). John allowed - welcomed me- to come see the property to check out the layout for what I needed giving my caterer information and planning for our stay. I needed to move furniture and a few other things and when I asked John if it was ok, his reply was, “it’s your house”, and I truly felt that way. It was comfortable and allowed for my family to stay and as we had a few revolving guests, John provided extra linens. The rehearsal dinner was on a hot August night and I had told folks to bring a bathing suit. Several of the bridal party and friends jumped in! The animals were fun and when a few of the kitties jumped in the car when we were leaving we were tempted to steal them! Our caterer for that dinner and a farewell brunch lived the set up of this place as well. I honestly cannot recommend it enough! Thanks John!

Lisa's Lodge was wonderful; just perfect for the two of us. It was so nice to take a dip in the lovely pool, sit by the the beautiful lake and take walks around the grounds and up the road. Proximity to Anderson yielded a couple of good restaurants and it was also an easy trip to Greenville and its charms. Lisa is very nice and her son offered help in case we needed it during a rainstorm. What a happy experience! We both want to go back!

Jason was very proactive and responsive. Location is removed but still extremely close to all of Seneca’s offerings. Had fun at the pool.

Loved our time in Jefferson Georgia! wonderful property and really nice town.
