Holiday rentals with a hot tub in Franklin County

We had a lovely visit at this wonderful house. It is such an inviting and interesting house with very comfortable furnishings. We used the very functional kitchen to prepare a full dinner which we enjoyed on the deck with its attractive decorative lighting. Afterwards, we slept in very comfortable beds and woke up the next morning to sip our coffee in the family room. We had a great visit and will hopefully get to stay there again in the future. Thanks to our hosts for making everything so nice.

I stayed at Vernon’s home in Frankfort, Kentucky for two nights during a business trip, and I couldn’t have been more pleased. Vernon was incredibly responsive, honestly, the most responsive host I’ve ever had, and also very friendly. The house itself was spotless, comfortable, and had everything I needed. One of the main reasons I chose this home was the ChargePoint Level 2 EV charger in the garage. It worked flawlessly and charged my car quickly. Being able to park inside the garage was a huge plus, especially when storms rolled in one evening. It gave me peace of mind knowing my car was safe and clean. Everything about the house was great. I would absolutely recommend it to anyone, especially families. Just a heads-up: there is only one bathroom with a shower, so if you’re traveling with a larger group, it might take a little coordination. That said, it didn’t affect my experience at all. All in all, a fantastic stay. I’d definitely book again.

Jonathan’s place was great for our trip to Buffalo Trace. Everything was as described perfectly and the deck overlooking the river was a nice place to hang out in the evening. Thanks Jonathan.

This would be our second time staying here and it was wonderful! The host was very responsive and friendly, the house was super clean and just how we remembered it last year. When choosing place to stay we knew we had to stay here. Not only was it a homey feel but we were able to bring our fur babies which is extremely important to us. Super quiet location and in downtown. We will definitely be back and when we do come back we will be yet again staying here. Thank you so much again. We had an amazing time on this much needed vacation right before our first baby gets here.

We had a great week explaining the Bourbon Road! Brandan’s cottage was perfectly located to visit the distilleries that we picked out. We enjoyed sitting on the back deck listening to the creek babbling away. Could have done without the cicadas screaming away at us, but that certainly wasn’t Brandan’s fault! Haha.

We had a wonderful time and really enjoyed the property. There are lots of great spaces to enjoy in the house and everything was well thought out. We loved watching the cows in the pasture and wandering the grounds. We can’t wait to come back again.

We had such a great stay. The location was perfect for exploring the Bourbon Trail and just a few minutes from Buffalo Trace. The house was cozy and comfortable, and the game room was a fun little bonus. The bed was firm and super comfortable, which was exactly what we needed after long days out. The hosts really thought of everything, even leaving a dog bowl and bed for Max. That small touch meant a lot. We’d definitely stay here again

Wow, what a beautiful cabin. We had 2 couples staying in the cabin for the weekend with plenty of room. I ask the owners if they had a banner for a birthday🤗. We were celebrating my best friend’s 60th birthday. We went to the Arc encounter which was very close and had dinner reservations in Cincinnati on a dinner train. Anjanette went above and beyond to hang balloons and a banner. She was so thoughtful. We all had a wonderful time at the cabin and the hot tub was amazing. We would definitely recommend this cabin. Thanks for a wonderful weekend.

Wonderful relaxing time at this house. Though there are things to do in the area, the pool and pickleball court kept us all content to stay at the house for most of our time in the area. Host was extremely accommodating. We misread the listing and expected a high chair to be available. When we called the host to ask where it was located, she had one delivered from Walmart for us that same day. Highly recommend.

We came on a bourbon quest (it was successful)and an end of the school year teacher retreat. The cabin was perfect for our plans. Cabin matched the pictures and descriptions perfectly. Very responsive hosts with very clear detailed instructions. We loved playing records and the back sitting area was so peaceful. Cabin is equipped with all the things to cook. Coffee setup was great! Due to a massive amount of rain we did not get to walk the trail but it looked awesome. Getting to the loft was no problem and the bed was so comfortable. Highly recommend!

We had a wonderful time and the host was very responsive and helpful. My kids didn’t want to leave the pool, the geese and the hot tub! We had a vacation we will never forget. Thank you and we hope to return one day!

Absolutely loved Bourbon Barrel cottages! Beautiful setting out in the rolling hills of Kentucky. Lose to distilleries and restaurants yet out far enough to enjoy the peace and quiet. Angie was out every day tending to the beautiful landscaping. They even offer fresh eggs on-site. Book this place next time you’re in bourbon country, you won’t be disappointed!

This house and property is beautiful! We had such an amazing weekend. We love about an hour away and wanted to get away to the lake for our anniversary. Carolyn’s place did not disappoint! From the cozy beds and linens to the fully stocked kitchen and everything in between we felt truly at home. The space is open and airy and feels like you belong. The hosts have thought of it all. We spent 90% of our time outside on the deck or on the dock. It rained a good amount of the time but we still had a blast because the deck is fully covered. So much wildlife!! There’s a baby snapping turtle that lives in the yard and on the dock and deer were everywhere. The kayaks were a lot of fun too! This definitely won’t be our last visit here!

We had a wonderful weekend stay in Kentucky! The house was perfect for our group. It's spacious, clean, and super comfortable. The layout made it easy for everyone to relax and hang out together, and the location couldn’t have been better. We were close to all the spots we wanted to visit, which made getting around a breeze.
