House holiday rentals in Franklin County

We enjoyed our short stay at this condo. It has been beautifully updated and decorated and was very clean. The extras provided by the management company were much appreciated—as well as the fresh linens. We would certainly stay here again!

We had a wonderful time at Kristie’s. Comfortable and beautiful property. The pool and game rooms were so much fun!

What a great place in a location out of the mayhem. Jessica was a fantastic host.

We enjoyed a long weekend with 7 extended family members and 2 dogs. The place was beautiful and had something for everyone. Beautiful landscaping, perfect view of the lake, water activities. We never even got to the ping pong table or Cornhole because we were so busy on the water. Bedroom set-up was great, comfortable, if low, beds. The porch is a great place to spend a whole afternoon, and gated, so the dogs could be off leash, also the second level of the dock. We enjoyed a fire in the fire pit, and the young adults enjoyed the hot tub. Close (by lake/mountain standards) to grocery stores and restaurants, many on the lake. We would visit again.

Stayed for a long weekend with family and we really enjoyed our stay. From the moment we walked in, we were pleased with how spotless the home was. It was as pristine as a model home, yet was cozy and thoughtfully decorated to make us feel at home. The home was also convenient to nearby stores and restaurants. We appreciated the board games, kayaks, paddle boards, and the well stocked kitchen with plenty cookware, appliances, and seasonings. The home is absolutely beautiful and even better than described in my opinion.

This house felt just like home! It had everything you would need in the kitchen. The garage had ping pong, darts and extra outside chairs . The front and back porch had plenty of patio furniture. The bedrooms were so cozy and spacious. The upstairs area was a perfect place for the kids to hang out . And the bathrooms were clean and had plenty of towels ! I even took advantage of the CrossFit gym that was 5 minutes down the road ! And just beyond that was a grocery store and coffee shop! We really enjoyed our stay!

Our stay was wonderful! The house was clean and all the little extras on the day of arrival made it very welcoming! The view was great and it was so peaceful! All of the kids had a great time! Sarah was a great host and responded quickly to any questions we had. We will definitely consider this again in the future!

Brookwood was an awesome place to host our family of 12 (7 adults, 5 children) for a week long stay. There is enough space to spread out and do different things as well as a huge kitchen table to eat at and hang out and play cards at the end of the night. The house is eclectic and has so many points of interest. The pool and the creek were highlights for us. I think the boys fished almost every day, and all of us used the pool for hours on end. There was ample space for yard games and a fire for making smores. Parking was easy and spacious. Another plus is the proximity to Roanoke, which has grocery stores, restaurants and fishing spots. We found the kitchen to be stocked with most every amenity that we needed. I believe we cooked full meals 4 of the seven nights we were there. The scent free requirement was not an issue at all. Plenty of dish soap, hand soap and shampoo for all of us.

We had a great trip and it had everything we needed for a family of four and four-legged! Plenty of space and everything was clean and ready for us! Convenient location to the bridgewater location (boat rentals, restaurants, gift shops and putt putt) as well as to lake access and grocery stores. Thanks for a great stay!

We loved our stay here. The walk from the house to the dock was easy for our grandma also. Got to park our boat to the dock. Very peaceful. Loved it here. We will definitely be back.

Very quiet, relaxing place for family or romantic getaway. It’s secluded but that kinda added to the charm. Beautiful home and dock!! Would book again

We had a great time staying at the cabin for a weekend get away with ladies from our Bible study! We loved all the various places to sit and relax, especially the screened in porch and down on the dock. It was exactly what we were looking for and we would definitely recommend this cabin as a great place to stay!

Kelsey was probably one of my favorite hosts ever, easy to communicate with. I booked on short notice she was patient, helpful compassionate and understanding she responded quickly. I never had to wait for any length of time for her to respond. We rented a different place first, they weren’t very helpful at all or even willing to help…I was majorly disappointed & stressed Kelsey was exactly what I needed, she was helpful and accommodating. We traveled from Idaho, to attend my mother’s funeral. Kelsey was very friendly, sympathetic, understanding she was so kind and gracious to us. The absolute perfect host. A perfect home allowing us focus time to face our loss, grief & family bonding. Rather than stress over our accommodations. The house was PERFECT clean, quiet so well stocked I didn’t have to worry about “anything” or if I had forgot something all my focus was on my mom’s siblings, my kids, my husband…. I was able to focus on my family. Thank you

This was the most well equipped home I have ever stayed in, from everything you will need in the kitchen to outside fun like kayaks, corn hole boards, and a paddle boat. Even the small stuff we sometimes forget like shampoo, toothpaste and toothbrush was provided. The entire home inside and out was well thought about!

We had an awesome stay here!! The hosts were super responsive. We saw that one of the kayaks had a hole, and they sent a replacement within two days. They have lots of games and activities at the house, but it is also a 10-15 minute drive from restaurants, mini golf, shops, and even the smith mountain lake state park!

Every member of our family of nine adults felt like royalty in this well-preserved historic home. It is solidly built, with extensive attention to detail. We had plenty of space to spread out, and to be together. We brought an air mattress. We slept well, the sheets are luxurious. We relaxed and explored the grounds. Even though it's an old house, it didn't set off our family members with sensitive allergies. It's private, but within ten minutes of a nice town. Not many AirBnb's have exceeded our expectations, but this beautiful home did.

The area was very tranquil and the house was a nice escape. Thank you for the stay! We will come back again.

What a beautiful place Ben has! We absolutely loved our stay there! There was everything we could possibly need! Enjoyed the mornings on the deck especially! And when there was one little thing missing, Ben went out of his way to remedy that! Thank you it was a beautiful way to spend our daughter’s graduation from college!

Cheryl went above and beyond to welcome us. The house is spacious and the pool table was a bit hit! We have relatives in the area so I’ll definitely consider staying there again.

Sad to have only spent 2 nights! Beautiful house and property, comfortable beds and lovely home. We are from the west coast and were shocked at how serene and pretty the Virginia fall was from the front porch. This place would be great anytime of year.

Our group of seven adults and one large dog had a greet week on the lake. Nice location away from some of the busier lake areas. Close to the state park. The house is well appointed and has plenty of comfortable lounging spaces to relax all together or separated as needed. We enjoyed swimming off the dock and using the kayaks and SUP provided. The whole group had a great time.

We loved staying at Carol's place. It was nice to have adjoining bathrooms to every bedroom. The location was great (right near Drifters, Bridgewater Plaza and Jake's Place). We also loved how the decks allowed the dogs to be able to explore outside without escaping . Carol is very responsive and a great host! We would definitely stay here again.
