Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Franskraal

Sue is a fantastic and very sweet host! She was always quick to respond. The house had a lovely holiday feel to it.

I am writing this review while we are still at the property. We have stayed in many AirBnB's, but never have we encountered a place as fascinating as Kloof House. Nestled into the trees, at the bottom of the mountains, is this haven of peace. Due to the way it is built we feel one with nature. The interior is thoughtfully dominated by wood and endless floor to ceiling glass, it is warm and intriguing. We constantly stop to gaze at the forest. It almost feels a bit like being part of Jurassic Park, just without the dinosaurs. Inside it is pure luxury, no expenses have been spared, top notch appliances and so generously stocked, incredibly beautiful and stylish furniture, insanely comfortable beds. The nature pool, large hot tub and braai area are a real treat. All of this coupled with the friendliness and immediate responsiveness of the hosts makes this getaway one we will never forget. We had such a relaxing stay, exactly what we needed. The space was private, peaceful, and well set up for a comfortable break. Our host was responsive and made everything easy. We really enjoyed ourselves and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet getaway.

Truly a gem of a place! Clean, comfortable and cosy with a lovely large enclosed garden for the dogs. We loved listening to the frogs at night and the bountiful of beautiful birds in the day. Close enough to the main road with lots of restaurants and to the wandelpad for lovely long sunrise and sunset walks with the dogs. Allison as a host was friendly and accommodating. We loved Allison’s place and will always try to come back in the future. Thank you Allison.

We had the most incredible stay at Zebra Views! The house was impeccably maintained, spotlessly clean and so comfortable for our group of four adults and two little ones. Our 4 and 1 yr old had the time of their lives, running freely between the front and backyard. On our second day, we were surprised by a turtle wandering into the garden, and later, two zebras casually strolled by just outside. The view is absolutely breathtaking. The sunsets alone are worth the trip, golden skies like we’ve never seen before. The home had everything we could possibly need, and the thoughtful welcome gift of fresh bread and a bottle of wine was such a warm touch. We truly hope to return soon, it was nothing short of magical!

We had a lovely 2day stay. The beach house has enough of everything. Well equipped kitchen, beautiful decorated open space with a sea view. The beds and couches are very comfortable. Definitely a great place for a short or long getaway.

Had a wonderful stay at Birdsong. A real home away from home. Very well equipped, comfy beds and just a real gem. Views and surroundings are just beautiful! Will definitely be back. Thank you Lyn.

Great location, less than a 2 minute walk to the beach! Right next to a shop! Beautiful house! Clean and spacious! Loved the braai area! Loved everything! Great hosts, friendly and responds consistently! We will be coming back, we are in love with Franskraal.

Kyle’s apartment was the perfect place to stay in Hermanus. The apartment is spacious, comfortable and well equipped. Its central location is great for all the restaurants and shops and to walk along the cliff path. We would definitely recommend staying here!!

Wow, what an incredible stay! Theresa's place is absolutely stunning, and she couldn't be a more wonderful and friendlier host. The attention to detail is impressive, and the thoughtful touches, like the birthday "surprise" for my wife, truly made our weekend unforgettable. The amenities are top-notch: a cozy lounge with both air conditioning and a fireplace (with wood provided!), a massive fully equipped kitchen, and a luxurious bedroom with an amazing walk-in shower. We've had some great Airbnb experiences, but this one truly stands out. Theresa's place is perfect for a relaxing getaway. We'll definitely be back and highly recommend this spot to friends and family. Five stars isn't enough – we'd give it ten stars if we could! Thanks, Theresa, for an awesome weekend!

We had a wonderful time at La Mer flatlet. Beautiful views and good accommodation. It was cold and raining, but the inside fireplace was the place to be to watch the waves crashing over the rocks in front of the house. Will visit again. Good value for money.

My partner and I came to celebrate our anniversary and Valentine’s Day. Elfriede made our stay so special and we loved every single second of the time we spent there. Thank you so much, we can’t wait to come back again. Definitely become a new special place for us. Xx

Chris’s place is in a perfect spot with million dollar views. The place is very homey and even though we were only there for 1 night our little family throughly enjoyed our stay. Chris was a great host with good communication.

We will definately book Whale watch again, a stunning house with beautiful views. Perfect spot for relaxation and reconnection.

Our stay at this beach cottage was nothing short of amazing! From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the serene surroundings and the stunning ocean views. The cottage itself was cozy, clean, and thoughtfully equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing getaway.

Just speechless. The place is beautiful, well located, and has every facility in the home you may possible need! My partner (who has little reaction to anything) said it was what he imagined paradise to be like. You can tell that so much detail went into the home - it was truly a sanctuary and we hope to stay here again. Thank you x

We stayed here for a weekend getaway and had an amazing time.The house was spotless and exactly as described. We especially loved the quiet surroundings and the beautiful view.,we had games and the house is so big ,clean and kitchen has everything.The host was super helpful and made check-in easy..The only small issue we had was the inverter kept on tripping but they fixed it for us we enjoyed our stay . Would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing weekend away for group of friends or family, I will not mind coming back again .

The house at De Kelders is exquisite. The open view is 180 deg of sea view right above the rocks and the beautiful sea. Saw many seals. The house is beautifully appointed with stunning finishes. The house offers all the necessary amenities It’s peaceful and open plan. Both Hermanus and Stanford is close for restaurants and there are many accessible beaches. I highly recommend this property for a relaxing holiday

We had a lovely time staying in the house. It felt like a home away from home. Everything was super neat, tidy and clean. Very clear instructions. The host and the housekeeper are super friendly and constantly checked in. The house has everything you need and more. The view from the patio and living room is spectacular. Would most definitely book again.

What a great stay at Nuwe Lingen, the whole family was so pleased and impressed with our stay and if we had more time we would have stayed longer! It was neat, spotless, exactly what we needed, spacious, and safe. We felt right at home and found peace and quiet within the busy weekend. IMPRESSED! IMPRESSED!! IMPRESSED!!! What a stunnign stay.
