We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Mary River Farmstay. Warren and Vass are wonderful hosts who made sure we were comfortable and gave a lovely tour of the animals and gardens. The fresh fruit from the gardens was delicious and very appreciated :) Fishing in the Mary River at the back of the property was a highlight and the farm itself is scenic and peaceful. The cottage was cozy and had an enclosed area for our dog, although she also had a wonderful time playing with the farm dogs. Overall a great place for a short or long stay with heaps of space to roam and enjoy the countryside, highly recommended and we will definitely stay again! PS. When you stay at Mary River Farm Stay make sure you visit the Gundy Pub, just 6 minutes down the road, for a beverage and meal, its great!

We were in town visiting my Nanna close by and found Philippa and Harry’s place the perfect place to stay! Super peaceful, quiet, beautiful surroundings, all of the amenities you need for a stay away. Super friendly and helpful hosts! What a treat to have so many beautiful animals around on the farm too! We will absolutely come back to stay next time we are in town!! Highly recommend!!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this beautiful farm house! The location is calm, serene, and offers stunning views—perfect for a relaxing getaway. The house itself is beautifully designed, spotlessly clean, and fully equipped with everything we needed. The host was incredibly friendly, helpful, and responsive. We reached out for a few things during our stay, and she promptly replied and kindly provided what we needed. The kitchen was a lovely surprise, stocked with delicious homemade cookies and all the essential items in the fridge and pantry—such a thoughtful touch! We truly enjoyed every moment of our time there. It was one of the best experiences we've had, and I already miss it. We would absolutely love to return in the future!

Great spot right in the bush. Fantastic Lodge like accomodation - a bush set up - so dont expect a high class set up. Think camp fires or lovely log fire inside in Winter. Accessible by 2WD - short dirt drive way in which my Mazda 3 did easily. Gorgeous bush scenery & Maryborough is close by

The cottage is great for a quiet trip with family. It was easy to find, had plenty of amenities and in a quiet spot (despite some construction during our stay). Only thing is there isn’t a washing machine which was a bit surprising, but not an issue for us. Otherwise, Jenni was easy to communicate with and provided clear directions to the cottage. Definitely recommend staying here if you are visiting the area!

Kids absolutely loved seeing all the animals and there was so many toys around for them! While we were out seeing family they were begging to go back just to keep playing instead haha

Wonderful, peaceful cottage. Comfy bed gave a blissful night sleep. Oodles of hot water and good water pressure gave a devine, relaxing shower before collapsing to bed after a full day of travel. Loved strolling through the bamboo and mango grove, along the country roads, exploring the area, and sitting under the shade trees. Dog safe verandah, loads of walking with great sniffing opportunities for the dogs. Thanks for being a great host, showing us your hydroponics, sharing conversation and anecdotes, and discussing interesting areas of interest, including one of the best off leash beaches I've visited (in the non turtle breeding season) .

Arrived with a warm welcome and a carton of fresh eggs from that morning. $8 for a dozen and they tasted amazing when scrambled 🙏🏼 We went for a walk out the back to check out their organic farm and vege patches with kangaroos jumping around everywhere. It was peaceful and lovely to be out in nature. Perfect for 3 blokes for work. Close to the Urangan Pier which is where we went for sunset and sunrise. Couldn’t recommend this place enough. Thanks again guys
