It's always something special to stay in a historic location. This place was perfectly downtown and everything was in walking distance. I loved the addition of adding little booklets talking about the history of the place on the coffee table.

This was my second time staying here. Super cozy spot to use as a home base while in the area. Walked across the street to the BBQ place and loved it!

Beautiful views and a great spot to stay on our way to see the Royal Gorge and the Sand Dunes. Would love to stay again!

Easily one of the cleanest and coziest Airbnb’s I’ve stayed at. Wonderful location, quiet, spacious, and well stocked with everything you could possibly need - I was sad to leave!

Very comfortable apartment with everything we needed! The location is central to everything - the river, great restaurants, and we could see the mountains from bed. My husband had the best sleep the entire trip while we were here, it was very comfortable. The hotel was clean and very quiet, we didn't see or hear anyone else during our stay. We'd love to return to town and would stay here again!

I spent 2 nights in this apartment and I recommend 100%. The place is in Historic downtown in a wonderful 150+ years old building. Felt like I was conquering the Wild West BUT with all the comfort we need in the 21st century!! Plus, a free parking lot less than 20 yards away directly to the side walk. Just perfect. Thank you very much Bryan and Sarah for welcoming me in Cañon City CO!

What a fantastic place and a great host! As soon as we walked in the door it was easy to relax and enjoy Salida to the fullest. Short walk to the river and great restaraunts. Felt 100% comfortable, welcome, and at ease here. Perfect place to start the morning and unwind after enjoying a full day.

The place is super cute and Thomas was so helpful and responsive. I walked to the main St with lots of little restaurants, bars and shops. The neighborhood is beautiful.

We really enjoyed our stay in Salida. The hostel is so cute and homey. Everything is within a couple minutes walk. Such a rejuvenating weekend!

This was a great find for my family's vacation. We don't like sitting around, so bring close to the gorge and having access to all the KOA amenities was great!

We had such a great stay! The location is incredible—just seconds from so many amazing restaurants, beautiful hikes and bike paths, and a perfect spot to watch the wave. It was so easy to find, and the check-in instructions were super clear and simple to follow. We really appreciated the thoughtful touches—getting a free cup of coffee was such a fun surprise, and the host’s recommendations for places to eat were spot on. The space had everything we needed, including great amenities for making our own coffee and snacks. Would definitely stay here again!
