Holiday rentals with a kayak in Frontenac County

This is a beautiful new-build house, fresh and clean, with a spectacular full-height window-wall, high ceiling mainroom. So bright and airy with the perfect view onto the water. The lot is lovely, the rural surrounds are so nice and lush, and the flat terrain is easy for anyone to walk. Our neighbour cows and sheep across the road are charming. I assume it's such a good value price because people don't want to bother with the ferry, but the ferry is fun too, perfectly well organised, and a pretty short consumption of time. I can recommend friendly Finbar's terrific place to anyone.

Absolutely phenomenal atmosphere, serene and quiet. Packed with many thoughful amenities and more. Perfect turn key vacation. Couldn't ask for a better weekend. Steve is by far the best host we've had. 100% approved!

We had a great time at this cottage. Very private with all the amenities you could ask for. It’s a 10 outta 10! I think the only thing that we would suggest is having a picnic table in the yard which would take it from a 10 to 11! Thanks again to our wonderful hosts. This is truly an amazing location.

We had an amazing time at Don and Lindita's place! The hosts welcomed us with a basket of goodies and we felt right at home. We learned that we were the first guests after a recent renovation and the place looked incredible. Very thoughtfully laid out with everything at our fingertips. The hosts were super responsive to any questions we had and made it super easy for us. We had a ladies weekend and we were a group of 8. We had plenty of space for everyone to play board games and hang out when it rained and when it was sunny there was plenty of outdoor activities to do with the available kayaks and canoes. Lots of nature to see in the area too, we stopped by Rock Dunder for a quick hike, which the host recommended and the views were amazing. We would love to come back again!

An awesome place to stay. Loved the fact that we all had queen size, very comfortable beds. It was so nicely decorated , clean, organized and had everything you would need. The place exuded warmth, was inviting, and although it was big, felt very cozy. Lana was an exceptional host, friendly yet professional, easy to contact and quick to respond, helpful and truly wanted her guests to have a wonderful, fun and relaxing holiday. The golf course was great and the fishing excellent!

This unique house lives up to its name . Very quiet and peaceful place which even our furry family member loved, she had a lot of space to move around .

Everything was perfect ! The chalet is beautiful and the view amazing. Riley has been extremely helpful and responsive for everything we needed. His place is well furnished and very tidy which was highly appreciated ! We wouldn't hesitate to recommend and would love to come back.

Ewa and Hugh are amazing hosts who offer their little piece of paradise! it is a beautiful spot in the middle of the nowhere. very remote and serene location. has a cute cabin just by the waters and they also provide kayaks and boat. Ewa was available throughout for anything we needed. would definitely recommend their place and visit again!

We had a great time staying here! The views are incredible, the place looks better than the pictures, and there's lots to do and enjoy. We also loved the optional mosquito net on the balcony - really helped keep the bugs away! We recommend staying here :)

Jam’s cottage was perfect for our little getaway!! We enjoyed the house and soaked in the views of the lake from dinning area. Hot tub was nice as the weather was still bit cold. We will surely book again in summer next time!!

Linda was a responsive and thoughtful host, checking in to ensure we had everything we needed. The cottage is clearly well loved—perfect for a small group and dog-friendly, too. It's a peaceful, quiet spot with a great backyard, a beautiful dock, and a lovely waterfront view. We especially enjoyed spending time in the gazebo and around the fire table. We had an amazing stay at Jas’ place! The place was exactly as described - clean, comfortable, and in a great location. Jas was incredibly responsive (even went out of his way to send us local events happening the weekend we were staying) and made check-in super easy. We really appreciated the thoughtful touches throughout the space. The stairs were a lot but a great workout lol! We didn’t have the best luck with weather that weekend but Jas had so many games that made staying inside fun. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone planning a weekend getaway from the city! Thank you Jas!!

Where to start? Magdalena’s cottage was *chef’s kiss*! It absolutely exceeded my expectations. The outdoor space was gorgeous, the inside was clean, comfortable and cozy. The hosts were very receptive and quick to reply to messages. They left us a heartwarming gift basket and helped make us feel at home. I will 100% be coming back. Thank you again, Magdalena! My wife and I loved our honeymoon stay here. The cottage was very charming with pretty views of the lake especially during sunset. The town of Napanee was also very charming, filled with local stores and not overrun with tourism. It’s only an hour drive to beautiful beaches on Lake Ontario as well. I had to delay my arrival a day later than expected but Julie was very gracious in accommodating. She also gave plenty of recommendations for the area and clear instructions.

A bit of a drive but well worth the peace and quiet of this beautiful cabin in the woods! My friends and I spent our weekend kayaking, puzzling, and BBQing. Mike was so responsive and everything was very smooth. Would definitely come back!

From the second we arrived Monica made us feel welcome and went above and beyond to accommodate us. We were showed to our private cabin overlooking the lake, given a quick tour of the amenities and settled in for an incredible stay. The site and the views are just like the pictures, but better in person. Kitchen was stocked with necessities and a few small appliances, propane full for the BBQ and outdoor shower water heater. A hammock, deck and private dock all within feet of the cabin as well. I really want to stress how great of a host Monica was. Thank you for helping make such a memorable trip for us. 10/10 recommend. can't wait to come back!

Great place to stay, the cabin is cozy and clean, we can still smell the pine wood that is the building material of the cabin. We came on the thanksgiving long weekend, this year it was very cold, fortunately we brought our winter jackets and sleeping bags. The host is very nice, you can ask for more comforts if you don’t have your own, otherwise it is too cold to sleep. We didn’t bring drinking water, but a general store is 3 minutes driving away. The fall scene was spectacular, the lake is peaceful, the host and her son were friendly and responsive. We may come again in summer when it is warmer.

The place was really nice and with a great view. We enjoyed kayaking and bonfires. Amber was amazing with all the instructions and quick responses.

This place was beautiful and felt like home! There’s is not a lot of cell phone service only on wifi. The house had everything you needed, just when you thought you brought everything they already had it! Spices, pans, pots, tin foil etc. It is a very quiet area. There was a dock a few minutes away we launched our boat to go fishing as well! Will be back for sure!

We loved it! The cottage is located in a private area on the lake, well-decorated, and has 4 levels making it very spacious. The hottub and sauna were awesome - perfect for our winter stay. We liked the couch in the downstairs living room as it was big and comfortable, and we appreciated the Roku for easy streaming. We had no issues driving to the cottage even after heavy snowfall - the private road and driveway were cleared. Walkways, stairs and decks were also cleared. Plenty of room outside for walks with a dog and other activities. We would highly recommend Siobhan’s cottage!

I wish I could give 1000 stars. His little slice of heaven on the lake in the woods was amazing. He was an amazing host. We will definitely be back and we are going to bring out daughter next time.

Wonderful place to spend some relaxed days in the beautiful Canadian nature. The cottage was fully equipped, neat, cozy and lovingly decorated. Exactly as shown on the pictures. Nothing was missed. Charlotte and Cindy replied within shortest time and provided all relevant information well in advance. We enjoyed the stay from the first minute and couldn't imagine a better place for our vacation. Hope to come back!
