A beautiful Agro tourismo right in the lap of nature…very close to the picturesque Pienza town and with gorgeous views of Tuscany rolling hills all around the house.. Bianca’s father met us upon arrival and explained us all the details about the house, his farm, olive oil making and the background of the place.. They stay on the first floor of the house and Airbnb is on ground floor… The house was built in 1576 and it was one of its kind of experience to be staying in it… The house is quite spacious and very well decorated. We stayed here for 3 nights and did 2 day trips - 1 to Florence and other to Siena ( a must visit place with marvellous cathedral and piazza del campo ) and picture perfect Chianti region.. Having a car is absolutely necessary as the place is 8-10 km from Pienza and public transport is minimal… Regards, Sachin

We had a wonderful time at Alberto‘s and Laura‘s - it turned out that we didn’t do as many trips into the surroundings as planned because we just wanted to enjoy the beauty of the garden and the amazing views. It was the perfect ending of a fantastic vacation in Italy - I hope we will be back next year :) We received a fantastic welcome, home made bread, jam and pasta - and immediately felt like home. Grazie! One thing to mention is that the apartment is kind of thin-walled towards the second apartment - that didn’t bother us at all, but might be of interest for fellow travellers who are sensitive to noises. All in all, certainly one of the best accommodations we have stayed in!

Es war eine der schönsten Unterkünfte in denen ich bisher war. Der Ausblick und die Atmosphäre sind einzigartig. Flavia ist eine super sympathische Gastgeberin, die liebt was sie tut. Wir kommen gerne wieder!🥰☀️

Das traumhaft schöne Casa del Capitano ist mit viel Aufwand und Respekt für das historische Gebäude, die Umwelt und die Natur renoviert worden. Die Ausstattung ist luxuriös (zB gemauerter Whirlpool aus Naturstein) und wirklich alle denkbaren Annehmlichkeiten sind vorhanden (zB Eiswürfelmaschine). Die Aussicht ist unfassbar, 270 Grad Meerblick lassen sich kaum begreifen. Die Gastgeber waren jederzeit erreichbar, zuverlässig, haben alles perfekt organisiert und uns mit Rat und Tat begleitet (zB wo sonntags nach Ankunft mit der Fähre einkaufen) – vom Check-in bis zur Abreise. Besonders der persönliche Kontakt war außergewöhnlich herzlich und sehr sympathisch. Es gab viele kleine, liebevolle Details wie frische Zitronen aus dem Garten sowie Kräuter und „Elba-Duft“ (Aqua dell’Elba) im Haus. Und die detaillierteste Zusammenstellung an Informationen über das Haus und die Umgebung, die ich je gesehen habe. Man spürt, dass hier an nichts gespart wurde, damit sich die Gäste rundum wohlfühlen.

Highly recommend anyone new to Italy to try San gimigano first. Staying here allowed us flexibility to explore other cities and had plenty of great spots in walking distance. Lorenzo provided fantastic recommendations and assisted with everything we asked for.

Eloise’s place was absolutely spectacular, a dream come true and a perfect Tuscan estate. From the landscaping, flowers, pool with activities, the details inside the apartment- a Tuscany fairytale dream come true!!Eloise was a sweetheart and she made us feel so at home. Provided all we needed and very hospitable. It was so nice to see her every day around the estate with her cheery smiles and greetings. Her meals to order for dinner and breakfast were ohh so amazing! ! The chefs there are so talented and we just loved the meals. Would highly recommend this place to all my family and friends. Grazie mile Eloise for making our 40th anniversary so special memorable.

Unser Aufenthalt in diesem wunderschönen Haus in der Toskana war einfach traumhaft! Das Haus liegt idyllisch am Land und hat all unsere Erwartungen übertroffen – es war noch schöner als auf den Bildern. Alles war sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet, sauber und perfekt ausgestattet, um entspannte Tage inmitten der toskanischen Natur zu genießen. Die Gastgeber waren ausgesprochen freundlich und hilfsbereit – von der unkomplizierten Ankunft bis hin zu tollen Tipps für Ausflüge in der Umgebung waren sie immer für uns da. Wir können dieses Haus wärmstens weiterempfehlen und würden jederzeit wiederkommen!

We had an incredible stay at Il Caggio. Highly recommend the breakfast. The room was as pictured in the photos and very clean and spacious. We enjoyed the pool and the private patio. A very tranquil spot ideal for relaxing and exploring Tuscany!
