Unique mountain hut - nature experience in comfort

Great unique renovated and decorated mountain hut on 1800 meters altitude. Two cosy bed rooms both with ensuite and 3 additional beds under the roof - cosy, fitted out with all you need from dishwasher to floor heating. In winter time the hut is situated straight at the slopes. You can park your car for free at the gondola station, and get to the house by ski or by food (15 min walk). We will organise the transfer of your luggage. In summer time you can access the hut by food or with a 4WD

This great chalet has a great view of the mountains and Lake Thun. It is located in Beatenberg, the longest village in Europe. Good bus connections from Interlaken West (approx. 20 min. travel time.) By car it takes about 12 min. Thus, the house is very centrally located and yet away from the mass tourism. Before you can enjoy the great views, there is a slightly steeper staircase to master. Experience Switzerland in the Victorian era! Your apartment was originally built in winter 1864/65 for the clockmaker Zurbrügg in Aeschi am Thunersee. We have furnished the attic of the classicist wooden building for our guests: a large living room with kitchen, a bathroom and either 1, 2 or 3 bedrooms with double beds. Some furniture comes from the construction period, other carpentry works are historically invented and newly built...such as the blue front door.

The house is nestled at almost 1500 meters above see level in the middle of an alpine meadow amongst one of the most stunning and picturesque landscape. Rental for 7+ days. Guests must bring their own bath towels, bed linen, and kitchen towels. The house must be left clean – including cleaned bedrooms, kitchen, toilets, and bathroom.
