One of the most beautiful places I've ever been to. Follow Mario's advice and you will have an amazing time (ask if you can use the kayak!) Mario's son learned me a lot about music, and Mario himself made some fantastic breakfast, lunch and dinner. Thanks for everything, and hopefully we will meet again.

Wat een geweldig verblijf hadden wij bij Maria! Ze ontving ons letterlijk met open armen met een heerlijke lunch op haar balkon met een prachtig uitzicht over de tuin en de mooie groene heuvels. Op hetzelfde balkon genoten we elke ochtend van een uitgebreid en liefdevol klaargemaakt ontbijt. De plek is echt geweldig en vooral de tuin, die als een paradijs is, vol met vruchtenbomen, olijven, druiven, groenten, kruiden en andere planten en bloemen. Overal zijn fijne zitjes om van de heerlijke tuin met het prachtige uitzicht te genieten. En dan Maria, een zeldzaam lieve, hartelijke en zorgzame vrouw. Alles wat ze doet, voelt oprecht en recht uit het hart. Ze was bijna als een moeder voor ons en als een oma voor ons dochtertje. Het viel niet mee om na 6 dagen afscheid te nemen, maar we nemen de fijnste herinneringen met ons mee. Heel veel dank lieve Maria!

Le logement proposé par Daniel est très atypique et chaleureux. Il y a tout ce qu’il faut comme à la maison. Ana nous a très bien accueilli et est très très gentille et disponible. Si l’on recherche la tranquillité et le dépaysement c’est l’endroit idéal. Il y a un café/restaurant fort sympa dans le village et la ville de Mogadouro n’est qu’à 15 min en voiture. Une ville très agréable où nous pouvons trouver tout ce dont on a besoin. Pour les amoureux de la nature et des beaux paysages c’est par ici. Nous reviendrons c’est certain

Dos melhores alojamentos que já estive! O atendimento foi impecável! O Sr.Nuno é muito atencioso assim como o resto da família. Apenas estive um dia, mas senti-me acolhido como parte da família da aldeia da Espedrada. Uma aldeia com muita história e muita cultura. O alojamento em si é muito bom e vale muito a pena. Se estiverem com dúvidas em alojamentos na Guarda, venham para a Casa Jurada. 5 Estrelas!

We enjoyed pur stay at Maria's place a lot! Very cozy stay in the countryside close to the river. We checked in veeery late (01:00) and Maria allowed us to postpone breakfast time. Very comfortable experience! Everything is exceptionally clean. My recommendation!

We felt so lucky to have spent a few days there. Amazing to stay in such a mid century gem, designed by the owner’s architect father. It is quite basic in terms of amenities which adds to its authenticity although cooking is a bit challenging. But the pool is very luxurious. And the home made cheese and daily fresh bread were wonderful. Irene is a kind and friendly host. We could not locate the place but she drove to meet us and lead us there. When a fuse blew one evening (it was extremely hot) she came and fixed it immediately. She could not have been more gracious, we really enjoyed talking with her and hearing about the history of her family and the house. As others have mentioned, the nearest supermarket is about 45 minutes away so be sure to shop on your way. There are two very small refrigerators so bear that in mind when shopping. A truly memorable, special place.

Excelente localização para escapar do dia-a-dia e desfrutar do silêncio e contacto com a natureza. A propriedade tem jacuzzi e piscina para momentos de lazer e relaxamento profundo. As crianças adoraram. A casa é bem aconchegante, bonita, e agradável. Espaço imenso e ainda se pode desfrutar de uns frutos caseiros. Recomendo vivamente, e de certo voltarei.
