Forests, architecture, and art Yatsugatake Minami Fumoto Blackbird Stopover

Peaceful days with a private forest. Enjoy the sound of birds, the sound of the wind, and the flickering of light in the forest from a comfortable distance. Located at the southern foot of Mt. Yatsugatake at an altitude of 1150 m, it is a place where people who seek the nature and climate of the highlands live, rather than a tourist destination. Spring brings new greenery and buds, cool summers, colorful autumn leaves, and the warmth of a wood stove. There are also plenty of seasonal activities, such as skiing, hiking, river play, hot springs, and Hokuto City, which is surrounded by famous peaks, has many viewpoints where you can enjoy views of Mt. Yatsugatake, the Southern Alps, and Mt. Fuji. There is also an abundance of spring water. Please try to find them. The building was designed and constructed by the Tokei team, and the team operates it as an inn for many people to use. The distinctive architecture is a redesign of an old townhouse using modern construction methods and traditional materials. Inside, you'll find artwork such as murals and stone carvings of black birds, as well as books and photo collections selected by the host, which you can take your time to enjoy during your stay. * The capacity is 4 people, but if it is only adults, the number of people who can stay comfortably is up to 3 people. * The price shown is for up to 2 people, and 10,000 yen will be added to the accommodation fee for each additional person.

8 weeks Fujimi - Private villa with grand piano - Ideal for fall hiking and as a base for skiing

8 weeks Fujimi is a secluded house nestled at the foot of Fujimi Panorama Resort. During the day, listen to the babbling of the stream and the refreshing wind of the highlands, and at night, gaze at the moonlight with a warm drink in hand. The villa, with its log house-style interior and grand piano, creates an extraordinary yet familiar space. In 2020, we moved from the city with our then 1-year-old daughter, and we were so fascinated by Fujimi Town that we decided to move there in 8 weeks. After spending a luxurious time in the rich nature, by the time the 8 weeks had passed, I had come to think, "I will continue to live in this town". We named it "8weeks" because we want our guests to have a time that makes them want to stay here. I have lived in this house with my 5-year-old daughter, so you can have a safe and secure stay with your small children. We try to avoid placing things that are likely to be dropped or bumped into, and we also have a variety of picture books, musical instruments, and toys. You can also use it as a base for indoor activities such as telework and music production, and outdoor activities such as mountain climbing, skiing, and MTB. Both the home and the nearby shared office are ideal environments for long-term stays for Digital Nomads!

A quiet winter retreat A relaxing stay in a newly built Nordic HONKA cottage

Kobuchizawa spreads out at the foot of Yatsugatake, which is blessed by great nature. Horseback riding, golfing, mountain climbing, winter sports and more. "Do nothing." I opened it up to you to have a relaxing time in a special space. I hope you can enjoy the four seasons at the honka cottage of Scandinavia. Finnish forest, a cottage made only from Polar Pine, which grew slowly in the Arctic climate. Through the living room, you can see a large covered terrace in a clean white space with a ceiling height of 4 meters. Free parking for 3 cars, air-conditioning and heating in each room, fully automatic washer and dryer, dishwasher, various home appliances, high-speed Wi-Fi, 55-inch monitor for watching Netflix, YouTube, etc. and for meetings. In winter, the German Orsberg pellet stove and floor heating make long-term stays comfortable. "I want to relax without going out" I tried to give it a space. I hope you can relax both physically and mentally while reading, yoga, napping, and looking at the Nordic grove from the window. We look forward to your visit. Lintoko Cottage Yatsugatake
