Akizuki Craft Garden Main Building This is the perfect facility for groups of up to 7 people to stay without being disturbed by anyone. While it is a private rental, there are 3 separate rooms that can be locked with a key to secure a private space. There is a paved parking lot in front of the entrance. It is available for guests to use free of charge. The key is auto-locked, so you can get your ID at check-in and then come and go as you like. A small stream flows in the courtyard, there is a terrace in the living room, and a large garden with a fountain, with a view of the rice terraces and flowers of a Japanese samurai residence, and when the river is flowing, you can see fireflies dancing. There is also another 2-story apartment hotel (newly built) on the same premises with 3 rooms (hotel specifications) with a capacity of 6 people (3 rooms x 2 people). Each room has a terrace, and the first floor is fully equipped with a professional kitchen, and a living and dining space where parties are allowed (maximum capacityand a large open terrace, making it ideal for group guests. You can also rent out both buildings for a group of up to 13 people. There is also Akizuki Castle Town Brewery on the premises, where you can experience Akizuki Craft Beer, made with Akizuki spring water.

Inside, we carefully selected wood, cloth, and home appliances and tools with a nice feel, centered on the living room with a wood-burning stove. It's a space for you to enjoy the time to make coffee, the time to walk by the sea, and the time to do nothing. We emphasize quietness and calmness over flashiness and convenience. This is an inn for those who want to rest their hearts and senses rather than a lively trip. We do not interfere with your operations, and we value your peace of mind. If you need anything, please feel free to let me know and I will respond politely by message. The area around the inn is a quiet area close to the old village and the sea. Although it is not a tourist destination, it has a quiet seaside and simple scenery. It is suitable for morning and evening walks and time spent looking at the sea. A short drive away, there are also local restaurants and areas for everyday shopping. It is a place for those who seek a calm time rather than convenience.

川辺の一軒宿 Togu tsubakiyama

We have set check-out by 2 PM so that you can enjoy your stay. It is a private room in a renovated traditional house on a property surrounded by trees, located on a stone wall where two rivers converge. There are no buildings in sight, and you can enjoy the sound of the river, the sound of birds, and a sense of unity with nature. The water is spring water (water quality has been inspected). Depending on the season, there are people who come and go along the river next to the inn, aiming to play in the river and go to Kappa Falls. If the weather is good, you can enjoy playing in the river, as well as a BBQ and campfire (depending on the season and weather, you may need to refrain) with the ingredients you bring. (Please be careful when handling fire.) Rest assured, we also have cookware, a microwave, and dishes. If you walk upstream along the riverside path, you will find Kappa Falls about 150 meters ahead. Please prepare food and drinks for dinner, etc., before check-in.(It's about a 20-minute drive to the supermarket) Only the 400m section to the inn is narrow and difficult to see, Once you arrive at "Camu Tsubaki-yama", we will show you around.

In pursuit of comfort, the old beams and the scent of new Kunikuzu cedar wood create a clean and calm space. -About "yori-toko"- Built in 1894, this building was 118 years old as of 2019. The building, which has been around for nearly 120 years, has been a vacant house for nearly 40 years. Once loved by neighborhood children who came to study and play, this building was renovated. Returning to its original form, it was reborn as "Fukuchi no Yado Kafu yori-toko". The name "yori-toko" is based on the owner's desire for this place to continue to be a warm place where people can gather, just as it was once a popular "place to gather". With foundation work and insulation, it has become a comfortable home for the current climate.
