Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Furnas

We had a lovely stay at Dave's place. The village was welcoming, and we felt a part of the community for the short time we were in Pedreira. We especially enjoyed the views, the cats, and the nearby hikes. Dave offered helpful suggestions and tips, and even offered some cold drinks also. The hot tub was just perfect after hiking. We hope to return at some point.

Very good stay. The view and layout of the house that allows you to enjoy the view from everywhere are really the highlight of this cottage. It's also very nice to be able to walk to all the activities offered by this beautiful city of Furnas. Thanks also to José Maria, always attentive and proactive.

What a perfect place to stay centrally located on the island. The hosts were great and quick to answer any questions we had. We highly recommend staying here! The bar down the street can get a little loud on the weekend, but not too much of an inconvenience.

I stayed here for a week with my family (including two kids - ages 8 and 10) and we had a fantastic time. The house is perfectly located for exploring Sao Miguel - it is easy to get to all parts of the island - and is very spacious with a beautiful view of the ocean. The recently renovated kitchen is a huge plus too - we had no trouble cooking dinner at home one night (there is a huge grocery store nearby). Laetitia was also a wonderful host, leaving a basket of local treats to welcome us, connecting us with a rental car agency, and otherwise being very helpful.

Luis was an outstanding host, super responsible, very kind, down to earth and very amicable, and the value of the place was very good, I will highly recommend this place. Fernando

Truly had a wonderful time here in the Azores. The place was so clean and inviting. The amenities were wonderful! The hot tub was life saving after our long days spent hiking/exploring the island. The views were also spectacular. The bread that gets delivered every morning was also a cherry on top. If you stay in Sao Miguel- this is place to go!!

Perfect airBnB for visiting Ribeira Grande! Ana & Fernando and their family are amazing hosts. The property has a great balance of privacy, and convenient amenities (like the pool and breakfasts in the chapel). The architecture and landscaping of the property are beautiful. 5/5 experience. Would definitely recommend to anyone.

Luis was a fantastic host. He was very accommodating and went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable. He left a lot of information regarding activities and local restaurants. He deserves top marks as a host. The apartment is lovely. It has lots of space, great lighting and absolutely everything you will need for a great stay. The off road parking is a huge bonus. We had a lovely stay at this apartment and would return in a heartbeat.

We really enjoyed our stay, the apartment is very close to a popular surf spot, it's just 1 minute walk. The apartment is very modern and having the jakuzi on the terrace was a nice experience. The communication with Ryan was very fast, when there was a problem, he helped immediately.

We really enjoyed staying at Isabel’s place. It was beautifully decorated and very spacious. The kitchen was equipped with everything you need for your stay. We enjoyed sitting outside and in the cozy living room. The location was ideal for our daily road trips on this beautiful island. Isabel was very quick to respond to any question we had. We could not have asked for a better place to stay!!

We've just returned from a week at Vila Alegre and loved it! It is a real gem, and Antonio and Maggie are wonderful hosts. The place was easy to find, and it is just as lovely as in the photos. We were greeted by Antonio and Maggie who showed us around and explained how everything worked and where to find things. They had thoughtfully provided a welcome basket of local produce to get us started, and we enjoyed these goodies. They were also happy to provide information and tips on places to visit. The apartment is well equipped and furnished in a comfortable, homely style. The highlight has to be the garden room! It is so relaxing to sit there gazing out over the magnificent garden and listening to the birds. The garden is truly amazing - it is huge, and so well maintained - it is clearly Antonio's passion, and we felt very lucky to share it for a few days. We hired a car for the duration of our stay, and I would say that you do need a car when staying here. We would love to return.

We loved our stay at Claudia's place. The property is wonderful, a lot of animals, a pool and jacuzzi, bikes free to use, place to grill. The place is a perfect getaway to relax. Claudia was very friendly and always there. Will definitely be our top choice next time we visit Sao Miguel.

staying at Quinta Vielha was great! Marions is a super host,very nice, friendly and helpful. we felt like home. Her house is very well maintained. It's a beautiful place. She has horses, ducks, hens and some pets. perfect for kids! The apartment has everything you need. the situation is perfect to discover sao miguel. we recommend spend your holidays there!

We’re so thankful to have Jose as our host. He loves Sao Miguel and helped us experience its beauty and uniqueness. He was very helpful in making suggestions tailored to our interests and desired experience. Jose helped with hiking trails, restaurants and whale watching companies. The location of the accommodation is great, close to the airport and central to quickly reach all corners of the island. We arrived in the middle of the night and were still greeted in person. The highlight of the place is the view of the sea from the bedroom, but also the rest of the place is very nice and cozy.

Lotus House was sensational! We were a family group ranging in ages from 17 months old to 67 years old , and the house and property were comfortable and suitable for all ages. We were thrilled to see papayas and bananas growing in the yard. The kitchen really is well equipped- we fell in love with the espresso machine. There are comfortable mattresses on all the beds and plenty of towels and bath supplies. The heated pool, hot tub, and grounds made being at home so much fun. Even when it was 56 degrees and raining we were in the pool, and it was still comfortable. The AL Acores management team was impressively responsive. We had a very minor plumbing issue which was fixed within hours. When we arrived there were diapers in the crib, which was very thoughtful, and when one of the kids needed to see a doctor, we got excellent advice and thoughtful followup check-ins. I've stayed in a lot of airbnbs, and this is definitely one of the best.

Tradicampo is a beautiful place to stay with incredible hosts. I left feeling very relaxed and content. The local produce and recommendations were very generous and helpful! I would recommend this Airbnb to anyone visiting the Sao Miguel!

We had an amazing stay! The apartment is spacious (which was great for our little daughter) und bright. It had everything that we needed (even a chair for our daughter) and we felt welcomed from the first moment. We really liked the way it was decorated. The location is ideal for exploring the whole island and the next supermarket and restaurant is right around the corner. Thank you Teresa for your fast answers and your help! This home has got to be one of the most beautiful BNB's I've stayed at! Like all the other reviews, the pictures don't do it justice! The property is immaculately kept clean, the finish on the home shows impressive craftsmanship, and the views from the private pool is exactly what you need on vacation! It's very private and peaceful. I loved being able to just sit in any of the many benches and just soak it all in. So much care was taken to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we need. The host goes the extra mile in many ways, including providing a welcome kit with snacks and drinks! The host was extremely helpful and responsive and kind. I could go on forever about how wonderful this home and host is, but I recommend you find our for yourself! Don't hesitate - just book it!

We were greeted with fresh eggs from our own chickens and a pineapple. We had a very nice time in Patricia's farmhouse, which was always quickly accessible, the farmhouse is fantastic and offers a beautiful view of the sea from its own garden. The farmhouse offers everything to feel comfortable immediately.

Pedro and his family are super hosts. The home was fantastic and everything was just perfect. A fantastic stay enjoyed by all 8 of us.

Very nice house with a beautiful view and a beautiful garden. Everything was as described . Perfect location for visiting Nordeste. Anabela remains very available and friendly. I recommend it.
