Holiday rentals with breakfast in Galena

Michelle’s home was wonderful. The location is very serene and the house was exceptionally clean and well equipped for a relaxing stay. The house has bedrooms and bathrooms on all three levels, along with a screened in porch, multiple decks, and two fireplaces, with easy access (no stairs) to the main entry. Seating throughout the home is invitingly cozy and comfortable. There was a welcome basket of treats in the kitchen, such a nice touch. We really enjoyed our time at this lovely home.

We had a mother/daughter few days and Deb’s place was perfect and met all of our needs!! Great place to stay!!

Greenbriar is lovely and comfortable, the staff are terrific. Bill is very accommodating and helpful. We went as a group and rented every room for three days, it was wonderful!

What a great place and great hosts! Nice of Don to share history of the place. One of the best stocked places we've stayed. Also very clean with plenty of bedding and towels! The barn located behind is wonderful--great pizza, great beers and plenty of room. Truly one of the best places we've stayed.

Staying at Aldrich Guest House enriched our trip to Galena. The home is lovely, very comfortable, and EXTREMELY CLEAN. Robert and Douglas are excellent hosts-very accommodating and personable. My husband and I, when traveling, prioritize cleanliness, location, and comfortability. Aldrich House offers all three -- the bed was comfortable, linens luxurious, and our room spotless. The B&B is a short walk to Main Street making it very convenient so we didn't have to struggle to find parking in town--we just left our car at the Inn. Don't skip the breakfast--delicious. We are already looking forward to returning to Aldrich House.

Great stay, incredibly kind and welcoming hosts

We had an amazing stay. it was clean, cozy, and quiet. Paul made us feel right at home immediately and is very kind. The breakfast was great; warm and fresh. Everything included in this b&b plus being able to walk around the amazing town of Galena made it an amazing trip for us and we definitely will be visiting again.

We needed a place to get off the road on short notice and we were fortunate to find this beautiful historic place to lay our heads. Kari was friendly and her inn was well appointed. I wish we had time to examine all the historical info and visit the beer barn. We had a peaceful quiet night.

The property is beautiful. Miriam had great communication with us through the whole experience. She even went the extra mile and went and got some cake and ice cream for my mother to help me celebrate her birthday. Breakfast was great, and Miriam was overall a very kind and accommodating host. The rooms and bathrooms were clean and comfortable and so was the shared space. It was wonderful to sit out on the deck and there were a lot of seating options. Very close to restaurants and amenities in town. In fact, within walking distance!

Miriam is such a lovely host. Her property was cozy and well maintained and the views are just amazing. She baked us breakfast every morning, communicated very well and made sure we were comfortable. She also suggested things to do near by and restaurants. We had breakfast together the morning of check out and got to know her even more. Totally recommend one orange center if you are in Dubuque!

My partner and I had a wonderful stay here! Bill welcomed us warmly and provided helpful recommendations for the area. Great location a short walk from Main Street. The room was clean and we enjoyed sitting by the fire after our adventure, imagining who had been sitting there nearly 200 years before us.

This was by far the best experience me and my wife have had at an Air BnB/Bed and Breakfast. As soon as we booked, Miriam got in touch with us and sent us a list of cool places to visit and things to do. As soon as we arrived she was waiting for us on the porch and have us a tour of the property. Our room was great, it had everything you needed.The bathroom was beautiful and she had the shower stocked with homemade soap, shampoo, and conditioner. At night time she had the livingroom stocked with good wine for a nightcap. There is a complete kitchenette with a refrigerator and anything you need. In the morning Miriam made a delicious breakfast and had orange juice and coffee ready for us. Im a picky eater and she had heard that I usually only eat a poptart for breakfast so she went out of her way and made me a homemade poptart dish along with food for the other guests. She was so sweet and had such good stories. Shes so easy to talk to. We walked away with a lifelong friend.
