Cabin holiday rentals in Gallatin County

This was a perfect stay! Beautiful cabin in a very peaceful area. The way I search for a place is first, a king size bed on the main floor and second, comfortable, kickback and recline seating for talking, napping, and movie watching. We couldn’t have found a better spot. Very comfortable bed, big walk in shower in master bathroom, comfy couches, kitchen with everything we needed. We loved it!

Awesome cabin the hot tub was great after a day of skiing. It has an old cabin feel like you’re stepping back in time again. I would absolutely stay here agin and highly recommend it to anyone looking for something outside the city!

This was a wonderful place to stay. The place was spacious and had plenty of room for everyone in our group. Family enjoyed the hot tub after walking around Yellowstone all day. The place is 30 - 40 minutes to the west entrance of Yellowstone. In regards to Chris, he was an amazing host. He sent information regarding Yellowstone ahead of the trip and made sure to recommend local restaurants and stores in the nearby area. We had a lot of information before the trip, which was extremely helpful. Chris was very responsive to any questions we had. Would recommend this place anyone looking to stay near Yellowstone.

My family and I stayed here over Memorial Day weekend and had a great time. No complaints at all. Sharie was a great host and the house was fantastic.

This cabin in the woods is absolutely beautiful and very peaceful. It is located in a quiet neighborhood off a dirt road about 30 minutes from Yellowstone. The kitchen is well stocked with every day items such as spices and oil. Summer was very responsive when we needed something. I would recommend staying here.

Our stay at this cabin in Big Sky, Montana, was incredible and exceeded our expectations. From the moment we arrived, we felt right at home. The cabin was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had all the rustic charm you hope for in a mountain retreat—combined with modern comforts that made the stay even better. The views were simply breathtaking. Waking up to snow-capped peaks and watching the sunset from the deck was a highlight for everyone in our family. The location was ideal—peaceful and private, but still a short drive to Big Sky Resort, restaurants, and shops. We loved having easy access to hiking trails and outdoor adventures during the day, and then cozying up by the fireplace at night. The kitchen was fully equipped, which made cooking family meals a breeze, and the layout of the cabin gave everyone their own space to relax. The host was also extremely responsive and provided great recommendations for local activities. I highly recommend we will be back.

Bear Paw Cabin and Liz, were just amazing! This was the perfect rental, exceptionally well equipped, and the most beautiful setting. Liz was so helpful and responsive, it all made our trip feel like home! I am looking for a reason to come back!

Our stay at the Midnight Pines cabin was wonderful. The place was so clean and spacious. We cooked our breakfasts/dinners and packed lunches from the well-stocked kitchen easily even with such a large group of people. The extra fridge was helpful and the washer/dryer worked well. Brian and Chris were very communicative on the front end and quick to respond while we were there. Our family ages 3 to 77 loved the pickleball court, the hot tub, and especially the space to gather. We slept comfortably with plenty of room to spread out. With 14 people, the 5.5 bathrooms were so helpful when heading out early each morning. The location was perfect for us. It was a quick, (22 min) beautiful drive to the west Yellowstone entrance. Although we did a large Walmart pickup order in Rexburg on the way in, the grocery store across the street was well-stocked for items we forgot or needed. We even chose to leave YNP early one day so we could hang together at the cabin! We wouldn’t change a thing.

If you are looking for a simple, clean, well-stocked home, this is it. We appreciated how well-stocked the house was with supplies and the abundance of towels. Robert was an excellent & friendly host who gave us awesome recommendations. We LOVED the simple check-out instructions & no cleaning fee charged. If you are a fisherman/woman, you will love the location right on the Madison River. We loved the area & being 30 min from Yellowstone. Great stay.

The house was even better than advertised, we were all very pleased. The location is very convenient to Yellowstone, along with tons of activities and recreational areas in the area. You could spend a month here and not even get close to doing it all in the area. I love how secluded and private it is, while still feeling safe. If we come back, and I really want to, I wouldn’t hesitate at all to book this again. We already miss the sunsets on the range out front. Thanks for sharing your property Montana Jim!

Liz’s home was perfect for our girls weekend! The location was private and comfortable, and just 10 min from the downtown. Ubers and DoorDash were able to find us, no problem! The home was clean, and the hot tub was a big plus! Would recommend for groups!

We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect spring escape than this beautiful Airbnb in Big Sky, Montana. Surrounded by sweeping views of the awakening mountains and fresh alpine air, this home offered a peaceful, rejuvenating retreat. The property was spotless, cozy, and incredibly well-equipped. Every room felt warm and welcoming, and the large windows brought the outdoors in, making every sunrise and sunset feel like part of the experience. Each bedroom has its own bathroom too! Yellowstone National Park was just a scenic drive away—seeing the geysers, bison, and that incredible landscape without summer crowds was a dream. Another highlight was exploring Lewis and Clark Caverns—absolutely awe-inspiring and a hidden gem. This home wasn’t just a place to stay—it was a launchpad for adventure and a space to truly unwind. We left with incredible memories and a deep appreciation for Montana’s spring beauty. Highly, highly recommend—this is a stay you won’t forget!

We had such a wonderful time at Stephan and Skye’s lakeside home. We booked last minute and they were extremely accommodating and flexible. The home is in such a great location with many things to do. Also, it’s the perfect distance to West Yellowstone shopping and dining and the park entrance. I highly recommend this place! Great, exactly as advertised. We booked Kelcey's place as a base of operations for a trip to Yellowstone. Overall it was about an hour and 10 minutes to West Yellowstone plus around another hour to hour and a half to the main attractions in the park, depending on where you're going. That's not a short drive, but it's an easy one as the roads are easy to drive and navigation is extremely straightforward. The place itself was great, two bedrooms, one bathroom, and a fully equipped kitchen where you can make yourself breakfast/dinner/sandwiches (we quickly realized the food was both very expensive and very bad in the park). The location itself is very secluded, quiet, and safe. There's a large grocery store in Ennis that's maybe a 10 minute drive away, plus some restaurants in Ennis if you want to eat out. Also not too far from Nevada City and Virginia City, though we were personally not very impressed. If you don't mind a longer drive, this is a really great option.

My wife and I greatly enjoyed our stay at the cabin. It’s close to Yellowstone but removed from any crowds so you truly feel at peace. The house itself was clean, cozy, and well stocked. Tanya was attentive and responsive if we had any questions. The WiFi is fairly spotty, which didn’t bother us at all, but is just something to note for future visitors. This was our first time in Montana and we can’t wait to be back!

Our stay at Joe and Michelles cabin was AMAZING!!! From beautiful views to wounderful hospitality. We felt so at home in the cabin. They have anything you need and if they dont have something a quick call and they would bring it right over. I reconend this cabin to anyone looking for a home away from home. Very clean and beautiful!!! Dont let me forget the wonderful nights grilling on the deck and nights around the fire, with a beautiful mountain view. Loved that it was out of the busle of the city. Yet just a short drive to dinning- shopping- and MSU!!! Joe and Michelle are wonderful hosts they are willing to go out of their way to make you feel cozy and relaxed during your stay with them. We will definitely be returning to them for future visits to the area!!!

Our adult family (4) recently had the pleasure of staying at Drinking Horse Ranch and it was an unforgettable experience. The beauty of the ranch is simply breathtaking, with stunning hikes and picturesque landscapes that made every moment special. (We might have seen a bear or two plus a bald eagle while hiking!) The hosts, Pete and Angie, were remarkable. Their warm hospitality (too much to list in this review) made us feel right at home. Their dog, Lilly, was an absolute joy, adding an extra layer of charm to our stay. Feeding the horses—Champ, Rascal, Thelma, and Sunday—was a delightful experience that we looked forward to every day. We hiked their property daily, soaking in its beauty, and also made several visits to the nearby Gallatin National Forest, which offered incredible waterfalls and trails. I can’t say enough about how great this trip was. If you’re looking for a peaceful retreat with wonderful hosts and beautiful surroundings, Drinking Horse Ranch is the place to be!

Perfect cozy cabin for a stay in Montana. For two people it was the perfect size and felt just like home. Cassandra was always responsive and there is a lot to do in the area. Would definitely stay here again!
