Description of the apartment The apartment is 85 square meters big and is accessible through a vast internal yard. It has all the facilities and is well furnished. The kitchen has a dishwasher and a microwave. Each of the 2 rooms has a bathroom with a shower and tall windows that give luminosity to the interior. A windowed door of the living room leads to a beautiful private garden that has a barbecue grill. At the back of the garden there's a verandah where's placed a washing machine. The apartment is provided with heating, air conditioner, wi-fi internet, satellite tv and a dvd player. The location Il Giardino incantato (The enchanted garden) is situated in Certosa, Florence, at the entrance to the city, and is surrounded by green and peaceful tuscan hills and a vast garden of about 5000 square meters. The city centre is conveniently reachable by bus. We are close to the Certosa monastery that is famous for its history as well as for its art, in particular the works of the italian painter Pontormo. Besides, we are just few kilometers away from the center of Imprunetta, a town famous for its terracotta art. There are also some important sights to visit for example the Sanctuary of Santa Maria Maggiore. Imprunetta is an area of olive trees plantations and wine yards so there you can find locally produced wine and olive oil of the finest quality. How to reach us The Giardino incantato (the enchanted garden) is happily located just 100 meters away from the A1 highway (exit Florence-Certosa) and from the entrance to the Florence-Siena road. At about 150 meters there's a bus stop of the line 37 that goes directly to the Florence main railway station Santa Maria Novella as well as of the intercity buses that will take you straight to Siena and Grosseto. The airport of Florence Peretola is easily reachable by highway A1 (20 min. ride). Finally in our staff there is an official turistic guide of Florence, wich offers its services to guests at special rates.

Think of a tiny charming ancient tower, embedded in a time into a small XIX century tuscan villa on the florentine hills. Think of a romantic place for a couple, with a bedroom and a living room which opens onto a breathtaking terrace in the countryside, with a bathroom and a tiny kitchen. Also think that in 20 minutes drive you are into Florence downtown. Well, this is the place! To get all this you have to climb three flights of stairs with no lift. We were made to feel welcome. Even though we arrived earlier than we had advised Giulia made the effort to leave what she was doing to drive 30 minutes to greet us personally & show us the home. Giulia is friendly jolly & kind. The location of the home is perfect, just 10 minutes by bus to the historic centre. Just a pleasant 2 minute stroll to the piazza where you can savour a delicious warm pastry with coffee. There is a pharmacy & supermarket & good places to have lunch & dinner. The house is delightful with all the comforts of home. Our car was safely on the drive by the front door. So convenient. We arrived for the Christmas holiday & found the home warm & cosy. Giulia had even taken the time to make the place festive. We really loved staying in this holiday home where we had everything we could possibly want Giulia kindly left us plenty of products so we did not need to buy the basics. Giulia was helpful & always available. Casa Giulia is perfect. We would love to return.

This cottage is the perfect place for a quiet trip away. The place was exactly as described and the host was very attentive. The view is amazing and we thoroughly enjoyed the patio in the evenings with a glass of wine and a quick basil and tomato salad made from the vegetables in their garden. The cottage is close to town and only 20 minutes from the city center.

Great Italian villa with Italian charm & decor. Not like the other Airbnb that are all with Ikea furniture & decor. Close to Florence, short walk to bus stop. Beautiful views and outdoor setting. Would recommend for a big family or few couples. Plenty of space!

Comfortable and clean apartment. As other guests have mentioned, if you stay long term, she will come and clean weekly. Only draw back is that listing stated there was a dedicated workspace and there wasn’t. When I asked host she said guest usually work in living room or kitchen and was non apologetic about it. I think she meant well but didn’t understand what the term meant. Other than that we received great value from our long term rate.
