Located in the very heart of town, we have all amenities at arms reach. The Sailor’s Rest was the perfect stop for our trip! The shouse (house + shed) was very cozy, well furnished, and filled with supplies with great quantity and quality, making it a “home” far away from home. We love the view and the little patio in front of the shouse. Colleen and Scott was so caring and welcoming by making sure we got everything we need and giving us detailed instructions on how to get there as it was a bit hidden from the outside. We are truly grateful for their hospitality and thoughtfulness. Also, if you love cats, there might be a surprise waiting for you.

The host, Andrea, gave great instructions ahead of time. She ensured we had everything we needed and was very responsive to our questions. The place was set up perfectly for two couples. It was decorated throughout with local art and was very clean. The view from the front windows of the bay was spectacular. We set out on the deck the first night enjoying the view. Andrea left a welcome gift basket with local wine and goodies which made us feel very welcome. She also provided an informative binder of places to see and local eateries plus how to use the fireplace, etc. in the home. We would recommend this home to others if they want to enjoy a peaceful stay in a beautiful setting.

Lynn and Dave's place is a great escape overlooking a river from above. We instantly felt at home as it reminded us of our own cottage with the pine board walls and ceiling. We had everything we needed for our stay with a fully stocked kitchen. We even had a surprise visit from a very friendly bird that came to check us out. The location near Terra Nova park is what drew us here and the park itself is a gem to hike and explore. Make sure you get a soft cone from the local convenience store. It's small but likely has anything you might have forgotten to bring with you.

We absolutely loved Olive's Garden! Charlene thought of everything her guests might need our want, with alot of extras too. The house was beautifully decorated and well-appointed. The view from the living room, bedroom and deck are lovely and very relaxing. We didn't want to leave! The treats, wine and delicious cheesecake muffins were also much appreciated. Charlene was super responsive and very accommodating regarding my scent allergy. Thanks so much Charlene!
