It overlooks apple orchards and snow peaks, and offers modern comforts along with space for rest, reflection, or remote work. Beautiful hiking trails nearby lead to majestic Himalayan views. We have a warm and dependable caretaker-cum-cook and a helpful assistant — both are like family to us and make sure every guest feels at home.

It's ideal for a family getaway, or a group of friends looking for a chill pill!

The cottage is placed amidst an Apple Orchard with hundreds of trees spread over 4 Acres of terraced land. There is a lush green uninhabited valley below, with massive snowbound Himalayan peaks ahead on the horizon. Being away from the main road and surrounded by other orchards, the setting is cocooned and cosy. And yet, with the cottage perched on the high edge of a hill, the views are unobstructed and expansive all around. The essence here is a 'Cosy Expansiveness'.

Enjoy a memorable visit when you stay in this unique place. Herne Lodge is a 200 years old estate, with a main colonial building and a newly renovated wing housing this apartment. The apartment commands a panoramic view of the inner Himalayan range, and overlooks the Yamuna-Aghlad river valley. The snow clad Bandar Poonchh range is also visible in the distance, behind well known peaks like the Nag Tibba. This kind of panoramic view is very rare in our region.
