Short drive, 5 miles, to Glenwood Springs and everything it has to offer hot springs, adventure park and 20 min drive to Sunlight ski area. Access to fishing on the Colorado river right across the highway. Hiking and horse trails are abundant in the area, including the famous Storm King Mountain. The property offers two pastures and a fenced backyard for your dogs. Big deck with hot tub, gas grill and firepit chat set.

Edge of the Wild - Guest House @ R Farm

1100sf, single story guest house that's a couple minutes from the town of Rifle, yet backs up to vast open space. Sheltered from view of the highway by trees, boasts tremendous sunsets over the Roan Cliffs, and views of the Hogbacks and Mamm Peak. "R Farm" is a developing farm w/ sheep, goats, chickens, ducks, dogs, and cats. The guest house is adjacent to our family home and near the barn. Abundant opportunities for local outdoor enthusiasts exist or simply stay and enjoy the abundance.

Three more miles up the road is Sweetwater Lake and the jump off area for the White River National Forest and the Flat Tops Wilderness area. Glenwood Springs is 32 miles down creek/river. Great access to hiking, floating, biking (Glenwood Canyon) and hunting, or best yet relaxing next to a beautiful creek. Brink's Outfitters at Sweetwater Lake has horses and guides for riding.
