Oh my lord what a hidden little gem this was. I literally wanted a bed for the night but this was so much more! So clean, tidy, private, comfortable, great response from Wendy and easy instructions to get in. A stone’s throw from Hereford (which I need to explore more) Just a perfect overnight stay and Wendy was lovely! Thank you - highly highly recommended

We stayed in this beautiful barn for three nights, while my daughter sat some of her GCSE exams as an external candidate in a local school. It was the perfect location: private, peaceful and surrounded by the most beautiful views. We loved every minute of our stay, the barn was absolutely immaculate and Paul and Rosi are incredibly welcoming hosts.

My four friends and I stayed for a long weekend here for another friends wedding. There was plenty of room for us all to rest, prepare and have fun during our time with plenty of beds and bathrooms. The instructions provided were very clear and simple and we were able to quickly find the house and get comfortable inside. The house was extremely clean and well stocked for kitchen utensils and entertainment such as card and board games. Emma and Huw were very helpful and proactive in providing plenty of information about the immediate and surrounding areas and quick to answer a couple questions I had before the trip. Would definitely recommend staying here and hope to return with my friends to visit our newly married friend together in the future

Shepherd’s hut in Broad Oak
4.91 out of 5 average rating, 11 reviewsMaddoc's Hut - Herefordshire
AmyRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We had such a lovely time at our weekend at the shepherd's hut, the instructions emailed to us on how to get there were very helpful. However, we did not need them in the end as the satnav got us there with the postcode with no issues. The shepherd's hut is a beautiful and peaceful little escape, set on a lovely property. Such a nice feeling being able to sit outside, listening to the birds and hearing the little sheep down the field from us. Upon arrival we had fresh apple juice, homemade marmalade and even a little bottle of fresh milk in the fridge for us. The hut itself was lovely, clean and cosy. Its everything you need for a peaceful weekend away, there's lots of places to visit nearby and we will definitely be returning later in the year ☺️ I particularly loved the little log burner, it made it feel even more cosy and snug. Thankyou so much Hal and family for making us feel so welcome. 5 star hosts 🌟🌟🌟🌟?

Where to begin...Cleanliness is very important to me. The cultery draw was spotless and even kitchen sponge was brand new- Mark and Teresa looked after every bit! The bed is very spacious and so comfortable - we slept like babies every night. We enjoyed the pristine and beautful gardens with its views and painted together. Teresa and Mark are so kind and responsive - even giving us a bumch of goodies for our stay including my fav chocolates! They've thought about every detail to make the stay as comfortable and as enjoyable as possible. AND the kitchen has everything you need! AND the shower is great 🥳 I can keep going!!!

Beautiful place to stay, nice and quiet. The hot tub is an added bonus, just wish we could have stayed longer. Adam was very helpful on arrival. The birds in the garden were lovely to watch feeding, especially the woodpecker ❤️ would definitely recommend and stay here again! Travelled as a Mum with adult daughter and Grandparents. 5 ⭐️

Home in Tregare

TraceyRating, 5 stars4 days ago
Waterloo too has become one of my favourite places to visit. Beautiful surroundings with a very welcoming host who loves to show off her place and quite rightly so. There are lots of visitors to her bird feeders, your own private garden, although you are welcome to sit in Melissa's garden next to her pond and a few feet away from her orchard, where a mattress has thoughtfully been placed for any stargazer's to use. One of the best breakfast hamper I've encountered with fresh eggs from her friends chickens, local butter, small loaf, and small jars of jam etc. Cereal was also provided along with usual tea and coffee and coffee for the cafetiere as well and not forgetting the pint of milk as well. Will definitely be returning 🤗
