I had a lovely stay at Lauren's home. As other reviewers have noted, it is such a peaceful, warm place in the middle of the city, with easy uber/car access to everything that you need (I rarely waited more than 2-3 minutes for an uber). The garden area is so peaceful, the home is very well equipped, and Lauren is very responsive and helpful.

Slee was an amazing host. Very patient and accommodating. She is friendly and always available to answering my questions or being able to help me when I call her. The space was clean, beautiful backyard. I love the indoor braai area. It was lovely having my staycation there

We spent several weeks at Lisa’s place and loved every moment. Lisa was super communicative and always on hand if we had a question. We liked being situated in Melville which is easily walkable and has lots of unique places to visit, especially the cafes on 7th street, 27 Boxes and morning walks up on the Koppies which are a must if staying in the area. Thanks again Lisa for being a great host, we hope to stay again!

We had an absolute dream stay at Vee's beautiful home. The hot tub was a definite highlight - made our stay even more special. Vee was a pleasure to work with - super responsive, and accommodating. Her hospitality was top-notch. Highly recommend this home for anyone looking for a lovely place to relax.

We felt right at home during our stay - the space was warm, beautifully set up, and had everything we needed, including more than enough blankets to keep us cozy. Even Better Than the Photos – A Hidden Gem! I was initially drawn in by the beautiful photos, but the reality exceeded every expectation. The space is even more stunning in person — thoughtfully designed, spotless, and incredibly comfortable. The views were absolutely breathtaking, whether it was the morning light or the evening sunsets, the scenery was unforgettable and added so much to the overall atmosphere. The location was perfect: secluded enough to feel peaceful and private, yet still just a short drive to shops, restaurants, and everything we needed. It struck the perfect balance between escape and convenience. Honestly, the photos don’t fully capture how special this place is. If you’re thinking about booking, go for it — I’d return in a heartbeat!

We had a wonderful stay at this lovely 3-bedroom home! Our family of 6, plus our infant, were very comfortably accommodated. The house was exactly as listed—clean, spacious, and equipped with all the promised amenities. It felt very homey and perfect for a family getaway. The host went above and beyond—she was incredibly courteous and responsive throughout our stay. We were especially touched that she even purchased a baby bath for us, in addition to providing the cot listed in the description. Her thoughtful gestures and prompt communication made our trip smooth and stress-free. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and wouldn’t hesitate to return. Highly recommend!

My partner and I enjoyed our stay at Spekboom cottage. She loved the electric blanket as much as I loved the Cadac Safire Heater Cheryl provided which made the cottage warm. Unfortunately we couldn’t explore the farm but we’re definitely going back in summer.

This cottage is an absolutely lovely place to stay. Cosy, well furnished, with a private garden to sit and enjoy some quiet time among the beautiful tree ferns. We only stayed a night on our way transiting through Joburg but found the commute of abt 30 mins to OR Tambo perfectly manageable. very safe within a boom gated community and close to the shops at Four Ways amd Design Quarter. Quality bed linen, a jacuzzi style bath, and lovely welcoming selection of complimentary snacks were much appreciated. Deirdre and her husband welcomed us and made us and showed us around, making us feel instantly at home. we'll definitely be back! Thank you

We stayed with our puppy one night at Philips place! Very nice cottage with a beautiful little garden, perfect for our puppy! It's located in a very nice area of Irene! I can definitely recommend this place when one needs something in that area!

This place looks stunning. Beautiful bedrooms, smart tv in all of the 3 bedrooms. Bedrooms are stunning ! The place is very clean. The 3 bathrooms are spotless. I highly recommend this place, and I am looking forward to visit again with my family

We had a 10 day stay with our family from Germany. It was peaceful, beautiful and nice touch that the entire farm, grounds and surrounds were available to us to explore. The farm manager was helpful, we enjoyed meeting the owners. The facilities are great and a bonus of having staff accommodation at no additional cost which enabled us to have our chef and nanny travel with us.

Beautiful, peaceful cottage with everything you need. It’s close to Parys, but feels remote and secluded. Wonderful short hiking trails with fabulous views, and perfect for dogs. I would love to return soon and recommend to anyone wanting an “escape”.
