This comfortable rural house is located in the village of Lindoso, in the heart of the Peneda Gerês National Park, Alto Minho region. The village of Lindoso is well known for its Medieval Castle and one of the largest clusters of typical granite granaries (”espigueiros”). This is an old stone house next to an old water mill. Both have been rebuilt in harmony with the traditional architecture of the region. It is an invitation to enjoy the peace and the landscapes of the rural environment. DESCRIPTION: One double bedroom with a bathroom (shower). Living/dining room with TV. Equipped with stove, microwave, coffee machine and fridge. Bed linens, towels, and products for breakfast included. Central heating, private parking and a small private area outside. The house has a pellet fireplace .

The urban area is really nera the house and you can enjoy the lovely food in soem restaurants or just enjoy the natural landscape by wlaking around or just enjoy a nice drink in one of the river-fronts. Public transportations are not the best, but you can visit some of the surrounding towns if you are good in making plans... This is my home. I reconstructed it myself. It's full of love...

Dona Florinda's houses, composed of two bungalows, were built taking advantage of the inserted area, with two large balconies (one of them suspended) overlooking the best landscape - the village and the mountains. The house of "Sítio de Froufe" is located in Lugar de Froufe, in the parish of S. Miguel between both rivers in the municipality of Ponte da Barca, geographically within the territory of the Peneda Gerês National Park. What is now the "Sítio de Froufe" was for many years used as a shelter for animals and storage for agricultural products.
