Holiday houses in Gémeos

Very nice house, the caretaker Olivia was very welcoming and did us a favor. The estate is very large, many more peaceful (shaded corner, large pool...) there is a very nice dog who stayed with us during our stay. The only small downside is the automatic watering which is not too often too often, which is not necessarily necessary sometimes. I recommend this vacation rental with friends in Portugal! ☺️

Everything was great & we got great recommendations for the area. Upon arrival, we met at a nearby cafe and were escorted to the accommodation. We were very warmly welcomed on site and received the first information. After half of the stay, we even got fresh towels. Unfortunately, two things are not apparent from the description: the view of the lake is obscured by trees & you have direct neighbors. But that didn't bother us & we would come again and again!

I’ve been looking forward to writing this review! Casa da Cera was the best experience I have had with a rental. Sandra’s place is exactly as she described. If you haven’t been to Guimarães, it’s hard to imagine how the apartment is in the BEST central location! I stayed for almost 3 weeks and would have stayed forever. Sandra is a wonderful host, always available. She has a parking pass available for renters and the lot is safe, indoors and within 5 minutes walk. There are groceries, shopping, pharmacy, restaurants, cafes, right outside the door of the home. There are a lot of stairs, so this is not a rental for anyone with mobility issues. But if not, it is the perfect base for exploring northern Portugal!

This was the most magical Airbnb I’ve ever stayed in. The space is completely private and very romantic and peaceful, and the views are just breathtaking. The interior decor is stunning and feels very warm and welcoming. You have your own private pool with a view of the valley and two nice pool recliners, and the bed and couch are so soft and comfortable. Also, the outdoor stone bathtub with the special bath pillows was such a relaxing treat! We explored the area around a bit to see some vineyards, but we made dinner at the house every night and enjoyed the amazing breakfast delivered to our door every morning—all that to say, we barely left! This is worth the trip just to visit the Airbnb. I can’t recommend it enough.

Wonderful cosy tiny house. Very clean and comfortable. You find everything you need. Enough privacy, still among local people. Quiet enough. Nice little balcony with sunshine almost the whole day. There is a good local restaurant around the corner and a somewhat more luxiourious one 12 minutes on foot. Good bed. Teresa gives you a warm welcome and has good advice on the area. It’s a good base to visit nothern Portugal.

An excellent experience, a very welcoming place for those who want to rest, watch series and entertainment with the projector and relax with their partner. It had the necessary amenities for a stay, and I can also highlight the small face towel, which few ALs have. We saw the horses, the puppy and a beautiful green environment with yellow flowers, no doubt there is a very beautiful view from the window. It was very peaceful and in the morning it is beautiful to hear the birds singing. The cabin is small but cozy, has AC and cools the environment inside quickly, which is excellent in warmer seasons. Some points to improve have already been discussed with the host. We ordered the breakfast menu, with pancakes, and for the price, for 2 people, it's very good, easy and punctual delivery, I highly recommend it! We will definitely be back next time! 👏🏽 Thank you!!

Amazing and beautiful apartment with a killer view. So much space and so clean, we loved every minute.
