Great location and friendly host! Accessing the keys could have been simpler, but overall it was a good place to stay.

Had some issue with our previous airbnb and had to book another stay last minute. Was able to secure the booking with Dena and check in immediately. Dena and her team were very efficient and responsive. We checked in smoothly with them and we would definitely have another stay with them ☺️ highly recommend their unit as they views are good, sheet & toilet are clean and their unit is super cosy!

The house is nicely furnished in my opinion and good for big group gatherings. Many bed rooms available with a mix of single and double beds which are quite comfortable. And apart from the living room, there are other areas that friends/family can huddle around, both indoors and outdoors. All the basic amneties are provided and work fine. The owner is extremely helpful and responsive, providing prompt response and help when needed. The only downside I feel is the narrow road and insufficient parking. It's convinient if you have 3 cars (or 4 if you park one right in front of the gate). Anything more and you need to park further... and the nearby Sunny Point complex is an option, but you need a 3-5 minute walk back to the property. Also, food choices within walking distance is limited to a few Malay food stalls. Overall, it was good value in my opinion... just be mindful if you are travelling with many cars, then it might not be the best choice.

Thank you so much for hosting us! We really enjoyed our stay. I have to say De’s place is one of the house we stayed that doesn’t skim on giving comfort to the people. De’s kitchen has good utensils, bowls and mugs that are good quality. In many other places we had been to, they’re not good at all. Same goes to beddings and linens. De’s offered cleaned ones and comfortable beds. Thank you so much for clear instructions and for being a very responsive host. We will surely love to stay at your place next time we visit Malaysia again.

A spacious home that's perfect for big families. Ideal for those who enjoy hanging out together, cooking meals, and relaxing near the beach. The beach is within walking distance, making it very convenient. We were even greeted by some cheeky monkeys outside the house – they weren’t dangerous at all and just added to the fun. It really felt like a tropical escape, staying by the beach with a touch of the jungle. Thank you to the host for the lovely stay!

The house was very clean and clutter free, and being a person that dislikes insects and dirty surroundings in a home, this place was perfect! Zero bugs, clean and clutter-free interior. It is very obvious that our lovely host has poured her heart and soul into this place. Loved the design of the place! Amenities were provided as per the listing, and check-in was a breeze as well. Location is great, and very peaceful. Apple, our lovely host, was very warm and friendly, providing us with directions and recommendations based on our trip. She checked in on us a few times throughout to ensure we're doing alright and if we needed anything. I highly recommend this place if anyone is looking for a clutter-free, clean, and modern accomodation for a big group. 10/10 for accommodation 15/10 for the host

This place looks exactly like the pictures. We booked the whole house to stay with a bunch of friends (eight adults + five children). The place has plenty of space with a simple seating area at living, tables and chairs at dining, and well stocked coffee and tea counter as well as cutleries and plates. Bedrooms are simply decorated with fresh bedding and have good aircond and fan in each room. All rooms share common bathrooms and toilets, which are very clean and comfortable. We didn't use the kitchen for anything other than simple washing because we eat out when we're in Georgetown! Fantastic location - walkable to almost everywhere we wanted to go on our eatery list.

Great location… everything was walkable and good food at your doorstep. The host and her team are easily communicable and very quick in responding, the house in itself is lovely and effort has gone in with the delicate touches and finishes to really bring out the character of the house but some things were missed, we had a case of mosquitoes in the house which wasn’t ideal and found they were coming from the downstairs toilet mostly, patching that window with flints or the sorts would ensure bugs don’t come through. Aircon was very good as the house does get very very hot, the loft room takes ages to cool. Overall for the price paid and location I’ve given it 5*

Peggy’s place is really amazing! If you’re coming with your family, this is the right place to stay. It is located at the heart of Georgetown and all places are easily accessible from here. Starting from entrance up to bathroom was very clean and neat. The bathrooms are equipped with proper flooring to avoid slippery conditions which goes well for elderly people. Highly recommended!

We stayed 4 days 3 night at Cheeleong place and it was a nice experience of old house vibe. Check in was smooth and easy thanks for Chee Leong for allowing us to come in early around 130pm. The place has its own charm but not to everyone liking is presume.. as the old wall crack, old wooden door, old glass panel window create the ambient of actual old house in Penang. All basic amenities provided, ample space for everything. The bedroom upstairs is huge with seating area and the bed is comfy enough for 2 of us. The place is located at the heart of georgetown and easy access to everywhere via foot or short car ride. Don’t expect hotel level services or condition if you decided to booked here as the house its actual old building in Penang. Well recommended place for people who appreciate heritage and architecture of old building.

We had a wonderful night here! The location is great — it’s a very local area with lots of food options nearby. We really enjoyed the atmosphere and would definitely recommend it!

Very cute traditional little house ! Plenty of rooms and space for a big group. Close to shops and night market and an easy grab away to the airport. Be aware though that the stairs are a bit steep, and the ac is a bit lacking but hey it's an old house.
