This place was perfect! Matthew was a great host, responses are very fast and he is very accountable. The house was perfect, looked exactly like the pictures! Highly recommend staying here, you're in the heart of VA beach and a 5 min walk to the boardwalk and ocean front with tons of food, shops, and things to do.

We had a wonderful stay here! Everything was exactly as described. Eugene was really responsive when communicating and super friendly! I would highly recommend staying here if you get the chance. Thank you again for such a relaxing place to stay!

We really enjoyed our stay at Blue Octopus! It was a very nice layout with a family. Loved the connecting bedrooms upstairs, and even a baby gate for the stairs and top locks on the doors to the outside. We loved how easy it was to swim and go to the beach here! We went to Mudita for coffee in the morning which was wonderful. Would love to come back for a longer stay! Willoughby beach was quiet and away from crowds.

I can't say enough positive things about Alice and her home. She was incredibly welcoming, and made my entire weekend a delight. Her home is beautiful, and it was a very comfortable stay. But Alice's kindness and generosity really went above and beyond. Thank you again!

The house was super clean when we got there, the temperature of the house was great the entire stay. The pool was certainly clean, but since we went early, June the water was a little bit cold, but it felt really nice and refreshing honestly. There were three beach chairs and a wagon there that were helpful for traveling to the beach. There were available cups plate, utensils, and all the necessities that you would need, they even had shampoo and conditioner bottles there for us. We weren’t aware that there was a code to get into the house so instructions for check-in were a little bit unclear, but all I had to do is message and they responded. Overall, I would recommend staying here because even though the area surrounding isn’t the nicest, I felt safe the entire time at that house!

We had a great family visit at this house. We really enjoyed the pool and whole house was very comfortable and clean! It was nice to just hang all day by the pool or top for a sanctuary from a long day of events. Sabrina was very attentive and responsive with questions and situations, appreciate her flexibility as a host!

Mark is a great host. The house is immaculate. Every little detail is perfect. By far the nicest AirBNB I have ever rented. Mark made sure everything was perfect for our visit with our son in the Navy.

This was our second stay at this Airbnb and we were incredibly glad we decided to book again! The place is exactly as described, has all the beach supplies so you don’t need to pack it all, is just a quick walk to beach (awesome with kids), and the view can’t be beat. Heidi was an extremely responsive host who went above and beyond to make sure our stay was fantastic - you can tell her priority is the guest! My family of 5 plus a grandma enjoyed lazy mornings on the patio, taking in stunning sunsets over dinner, and long days on the beach (bathroom breaks back at the house are a snap due to the close proximity). The outdoor shower with warm water is especially helpful with kids! We will be back at least twice this upcoming year. Thanks for another great stay!

Very nice stay, very nice home and neighborhood. Ideal for a “base camp” to explore all of eastern Virginia and neighboring areas. Sometimes, traveling in this manner, small glitches happen. Most are easily solved with good communication, a responsive host and mutual cooperation. Had a small glitch - easily and quickly solved with these practices. We rented Jonathan’s house to attend the local graduation of a family member and to visit other family in the area. Jonathan’s place was perfect! Great location in a beautiful, safe, peaceful neighborhood, minutes from restaurants, grocery stores, banks, etc. The house was clean and tidy, and the backyard deck was great. The fenced-in back yard was a huge plus as well, as we could let our dog run free to get out his “zoomies.” Highly recommended, and we hope to stay here again when visiting the area!

The huge backyard was a great bonus — spacious, well-kept, and perfect for relaxing. Lisa was a very responsive host, always quick to answer any questions, which made the whole experience smooth and stress-free. Fresh linen and towels were provided, and I really appreciated the thoughtful touch of having a pack ’n play available for my baby — it made traveling so much easier. The listing was 100% accurate, and I’m super satisfied with my stay. I’d definitely recommend Lisa’s place and would love to return!

We were in town for our son’s graduation from CNU. This house was a little further away, but had the space we needed looked beautiful in the photos, and had great reviews. We were not disappointed! The place matched the photos, and Davis was an incredibly friendly and responsive host!

House is just what we wanted and our group of 3 adults had a great time. The kitchen appears to be recently updated and is in very nice shape. We were out all day, but when we returned at night, the TVs were well setup for easy use, the beds were comfortable and we slept well. There’s a nice backyard area where I had coffee in the morning since the weather was nice. As we drove in, I realized the house backs up closer to a highway than I expected, which concerned me. But there is a tall sound barrier and I didn’t hear the traffic at all. It was quiet and pleasant. If I am ever in Norfolk again, I will be happy stay here again.

Sarah’s Portsmouth home exceeded our expectations. Coming from Phoenix, we were looking for a peaceful, welcoming place to unwind with family and this home delivered. It was clean, cozy, and full of charm. Mornings were especially memorable with coffee on the deck while birdwatching and enjoying the quiet surroundings. Great location between Williamsburg and VB. Stores are close by for necessities. Eisha provides everything you may need! She kept an open line of communication the entire time. Place was quiet and perfect for the 2 of us. Parking is on the street. Washing machine/Dryer is inside as well, such a plus! We will be returning when back in VA.

Omega was very kind and responsive. I would definitely stay there again.
