In the summer, Finnvikhaugen is the perfect place to experience the midnight sun and in winter you can experience the aurora borealis. Welcome to this great holiday home with an idyllic location on Sandhornøy. The house is located by the sea and has a fantastic sea view where you can see the Hurtigruten cruise ships pass by. Great terrace that goes around large parts of the house so you can move around following the sun.

A pearl in a beautiful Gildeskål

The property has a unique location by the sea. The house is fully renovated in 2023 and everything appears as new. The property is large and freely located with a large terrace and great sun conditions, both during the day and with evening/ midnight sun. In winter, there are great conditions for watching Northern Lights. In rough weather you get very close to the sea and wind from the "good chair" in the extension, or you go for a fresh walk along the sea. The property is located near fishing spots and many hiking options.

We welcome outdoor enthusiasts to our beautiful cabin in Holmsundfjorden in Gildeskål, 1 hour drive south from Bodø. The cabin is idyllic and undisturbed all the way down by the sea. The cabin has a boathouse with a 14 foot boat with 10 HP outboard motor. The cabin also has a great private hot tub right by the water and an outdoor jacuzzi (included in the price). Great hiking and fishing opportunities await you in Gildeskål, and we are happy to suggest top hikes and shorter family hikes for you.
