Cabin holiday rentals in Gili Gede

Merci pour ce séjour, l’autre a été exceptionnel avec nous gentil attentif. Le cadre était magnifique ainsi que la villa je recommande vivement.

We absolutely LOVED our stay at The Jungle House - what a special place! The photos don’t do it justice - it’s a private oasis in the middle of the mountains surrounded by nature. Waking up to the view of the forest was incredibly special. The kitchen is fully equipped (best we have seen in months of travels) and spacious, with amazing views. Adam (owner) and Angus (manager) were super helpful and kind, stopping on the way back from the ferry for us to have lunch, go past the supermarket and organise a scooter. Adam also lent me an exercise mat so I could do daily yoga on the terrace 😍 We did a great trek to a beautiful waterfall with Angus- definitely recommend! We will surely be back for some more soul connection. Do yourself a favour and book The Jungle House!

Très bien. Hote accueillant et disponible. La vue est très belle et le restaurant très bon. Chambre tout à fait convenable et cosy. Seul petit bémol : la douche qui reste très rustique.

Fahmi is an incredible person! Kind, helpful and friendly. He helped me with big spider in my room so 😊

Tout s’est très bien passé dans ce logement qui a un excellent rapport qualité prix ! Fahmi a tout fait pour nous rendre le séjour agréable, nous avons eu un problème avec les WC et il est venu le soir même le régler, il est très agréable et a à coeur de rendre service. L’emplacement est idéal avec de bons restaurants, la plage et des spots de snorkeling tout près.

My partner and I stayed at one of Devi's bungalows for 10 days - much longer than most on Gili Meno! The place was pretty much as described, nice to have a shared kitchen and lounge area which we made some use of. Communication with Devi was very easy, as well as with Septian, the housekeeper there - he helped us with bike rentals, boat information and other stuff when we messaged him! There are loads of options for food etc nearby, the island is so small you can get around in no time! I'd recommend going to eat at some of the smaller warungs in the center of the island from time to time, rather than the big commercial-type ones on the beachfront (which are great of course, but you don't get as much of an authentic experience). The island suffered from an earthquake in 2018 and then covid lockdowns, and now having issues with clean water. Chatting to the small business owners, you could see how much giving them our business meant to them, after coming out of a very rough few years.

Nous avons passé 2 nuits dans le logement de Nathalie. Celui ci est fidèle à la description et pour le prix, c’est pas mal. Il est propre et au calme. Dommage, quelques ampoules cassées qui plongeaient le fond du bungalow dans le noir complet (pas évident pour trouver nos affaires dans les valises) et un escalier un peu raide pour aller à la Sdb. Pas de Clim mais 2 ventilateurs qui nous ont étaient bien utiles. Gros plus, Les petits dej sont inclus dans le prix et sont préparés par Mama Asma qui est un vrai rayon de soleil et une excellente cuisinière. Petit moins, l’accès, difficile à trouver en arrivant car point GPs pas du tout au bon endroit et peu pratique avec des valises. Le chemin pour rejoindre la route est assez boueux mais vous passerez devant une petite épicerie très peu honereuse avec sa propriétaire vraiment adorable. En gros si vous voulais un logement peu cher, authentique, propre, à 5min à pied de supers restaurants sur la plage, c’est parfait !

We loved our stay with Gili Eco Dive! We stayed in one of the basic rooms the first night and it was as described. We decided to move to the bungalow up the hill for our second night - worth the extra money for the stunning view! The staff were all incredibly welcoming and helpful. We enjoyed our snorkelling trip and it was a highlight of the trip!
