100 year old house with a castle inspired feel.

The Carter house has a lot of charm and character. Gas lanterns adorn either side of the beautiful front door, upon entering you are greeted with elegance beginning with a crystal chandelier that drops through the ceiling from the cozy library upstairs. The main floor has a TV area with a big sectional, dining table, gas fireplace, full size kitchen, bathroom, laundry and kids bunk room. There are 3 bedrooms each room having its own private entrance.

We had a great stay at Amanda’s place! The house was clean, spacious, and had plenty of room for everyone to spread out and relax. It was in a great location close enough for some fun day trips, fishing, and also convenient for visiting nearby family. Amanda was an excellent host super responsive and quick to answer any questions we had.The only thing to note is that the stairs inside the house are quite steep, which was a bit challenging for my grandparents. Something to keep in mind if you’re traveling with anyone who has mobility concerns. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back. Highly recommend!

We had the pleasure of staying at Bets Airbnb, and I can’t say enough good things about the experience. From the moment I booked, Bet’s was incredibly responsive and accommodating, making sure all my questions were answered and our needs were met. The space was immaculate, even better than the photos, and fully equipped with everything you could possibly need. Bets clearly put a lot of effort into making the place feel like a home away from home. Throughout our stay, Bets was available but never intrusive, offering great local tips and ensuring we were comfortable. She truly went above and beyond, and it made all the difference in our experience. I would highly recommend staying at Bets’s place to anyone looking for a comfortable, well-located, and beautifully maintained Airbnb. I know I’ll definitely be returning the next time I’m in town!

This is a beautiful home. It’s welcoming as soon as you walk in. Lots of windows to see the scenery. It’s just like the pictures and even better! I enjoyed sitting on the porch with my coffee and breakfast waiting for the sun to rise over the trees. Then in the evening, we sat on the back deck. What a lovely home!

Kid friendly

Nick rented to us on short notice after our original airbnb cancelled. He was friendly, kind and the home worked great for us. I highly recommend staying with this host.
