Holiday rentals with a patio in Gimsøy

We stayed a week, and the location couldn’t be more picturesque. It is in an enclave of three buildings at the end of its own steep fjord, over 1 km inset from the one road connecting it to the rest of civilization. You really get a sense of the solitude that might be typical of so many homes in rural Lofoten or in Knut Hamsun literary works. Despite its isolation, the home – an ADU – had all modern conveniences working fairly well. Cell phone connection in certain weather conditions was sketchy on one or two occasions, but Internet was always strong. Kitchen appliances and climate control all worked well. Wood-burning stove heater had all the fuel you might want. Of course, visitors are very dependent on their car. The nearest shopping or tourist attractions, even gas/electric charge stations and convenience stores, are a 20-25 minute drive away. Finally, the hosts were completely accessible during our 1 week stay.

As we enjoyed in the apartment! Perfect location to be able to walk around Henningsvær and look at everything that is there! The view from the apartment was 10/10! Fitted us perfectly when we were a group of 5. Played games, cooked great food, and enjoyed the time we had there!🤩 Also got tips for top trip from the host and they responded quickly! Great accommodation with a fantastic view from the living room. The apartment is very modern and nothing is missing. Very clean! Flexible self check-in and quick accessibility of the host are another plus. We would come back anytime.

Lise was extremely friendly and always responded quickly to our messages. We really appreciated being allowed to check in early on the day of arrival. The house is very spacious and comfortable, with convenient parking in the garage. Everything we needed was nearby. We highly recommend their home!

It was my second time staying at these incredible sea cabins in Å and honestly I can't stop dreaming about coming back! The location is incredible. The waves are incredibly relaxing. I just love it there! Everything was super clean, well equipped and Sophie and her team responded very quickly and helped us with whatever we needed. We felt welcome right from the start. Perhaps the most beautiful place we have ever stayed at via AirB&B. Fantastic location, high and tasteful standard of decor, and completely undisturbed. I can highly recommend this place for a unique experience close to the beautiful nature in Sørvågen, at the very end of Lofoten.

It was a very nice stay.There are parking lots.The surrounding environment is quiet and comfortable.The distance from the restaurant can be reached on foot.The house is big!

This flat is excellent. Great view, right on the water, great WiFi. It’s about a 10min walk back to the center of town with nice restaurants and cafes, as well as a grocery store. There’s also some great hikes nearby. Just know that Lofoten has moody weather, so you might want a long stay to ensure you get some sunshine to truly appreciate the region.

We loved Camilla’s home. It was spotless, well designed, and had everything we needed to feel right at home. Camilla responded quickly when there were questions and fave is a heads up that there was a holiday shortly after we arrived and that markets might be closed, so we were able to stock up before then. We would love to return someday! Thanks Camilla!

The views for this place were even better than the pictures can portray! There was a view outside of every window! The host was easy to communicate with and made it feel so welcome! This cabin feels like it's loved and part of a family. Such an incredible spot!

This was a win for us. So comfy, close to town, everything you could poss need including many hooks and places to put our things. And Kurt was above and beyond accommodating us when we misplaced the house key. Highly recommend this airbnb.

We adored Calum's house. As soon as we walked in, we felt at home. Calum provides everything you need and more for a stay in Lofoten. The house is well made, thoughtfully designed, and very comfortable. Hands down, our favorite aspect of the house was the hammock for lounging! The beds are very comfortable and we got great sleep. We also loved watching the birds at the feeders out of the kitchen window. The neighborhood was quiet and we took nice walks around and out to the jetty by the Norwegian Sea. Additionally we took a snowshoe with Paul from Polar Folk, a friend of Calum's, and we had an incredible time with our 8 year old. Thanks again for an unforgettable stay at your home. As our daughter said, it was worth taking three planes to get there!

We felt very comfortable in this cozy and modernly furnished house. Since we in the Winter there we appreciated the carport attached directly to the house to get into the house dry at any time. It is centrally located in Lofoten, a supermarket is in the village, in the nearby Leknes there are many more shops. The hosts were always available and gave us tips for seeing the northern lights. This place can be booked without any worries. We sincerely hope to come back one day!

Within ~1 year, this place got 20 five-star reviews. The only reason it hasn't crossed 50 is: Sortland is less popular than mainland Lofoten. The place is not only handled with, but also designed with utmost care. Originally built in 1934, every corner of it carries a meaning that not even an unwatchful guest can ignore. There is family heritage, and there is just the right amount of it. That's where the comfort begins. Living room is smaller than its photos. But with modern furniture & a smart TV, you never run out of indulgence. Kitchen & barbecue hut are well-equipped with utensils and tools for all types of cooking. Bedrooms are comfy, and just right for the cosy cuddles. The grassy, lush outside with a private beach is kept free of bugs by hosts. You can't get enough of the hot tub under starry/green sky! The best part is the proactive hosts who promply fulfill all unmet needs. The house, with all its warmth, keeps luring you. A tough fight against luscious Lofoten!

very nice apartment. the view from the balcony is amazing. the location is perfect, central of svolvaer and short distance to any lofoten tourist spot. spacious hot bathub is very relaxing.

We had a very pleasant and snowy stay!

We spent 3 days in Anette's apartment. The apartment is very comfortable and a good base for visiting the area. We have seen a herd of reindeer in the street, and a moose in the neighborhood.

The room was big and clean, there was no shampoo and body soap, prepare it yourself though

Great place with peacefully surroundings place us exactly what you see in photos. Geir is a great responsive host. 2 bedrooms, living area, kitchen and spacious bathroom, with all the amenities. Highly recommend this place.

Very stylishly furnished apartment with views of the harbor entrance and the arrival of the Hurtigrut ships. Public sauna right next door, best restaurant of northern Norway about a 20-minute walk.

We had a great stay at Beate’s place. Communication with her was fast and easy—she was always responsive and helpful whenever we had questions. The apartment was clean and in a convenient location, close to grocery stores and other shops, which made getting what we needed really simple. Everything was as expected, and we felt comfortable throughout our stay. Would definitely recommend staying here!

It’s a great experience stayed at Henningsvær. A quiet and cozy room with well equipped kitchenware & bathroom. Walk distance to the town for restaurant and view. It’s been Sunny the last day I am about to leave. Emma is super great of responding with clear instructions. I’d recommend anyone wish a solo or two person trip Stayed at this place :)
