Í Fjósinum Look forward to staying in one of the oldest houses in the Faroe Islands. In this house you can enjoy the very special atmosphere, of homely and cozy atmosphere. Here are crooked angles, low ceilings, and a somewhat steep staircase up to the ceiling, but good to walk on where 2 bedrooms and bathroom are. On the ground floor there is the hallway, the living room and the kitchen, which has been gently renovated two years ago. It overlooks the lake and the high mountains from the windows.

A house on the edge of the cliff. Direct view form the living area of the famous statue "The Seal Woman" and the steepest mountains in the Faroe Island. On 1st floor there is kitchen and living room in one room. In the kitchen there are the normal facilities. There is also a bathroom with shower. Upstairs there are two bedrooms that can accommodate 7 people. Outside the house there is a small balcony, where you can enjoy the spectacular view. You need to take a ferry to get to the house.

The house is a unique old fisherman's home from 1875, which has been owned by the family since 1929. Upgraded to today's amenities, without ruining the old nostalgia. The house is located in the center of the nostalgic village of Gjógv. One of the most scenic and idyllic places in the Faroe Islands Here you can imagine going back in time, relaxing and enjoying the tranquility. Yes you can literally listen to the silence and enjoy nature in full. It cannot be explained it must be experienced.

The apartment is situated on the top floor of a house in central Fuglafjørð. Grocery shops, café/bar, culture house, ATM, bus stop and the beach is literally within 2. min. walk. The backyard is a small public park with an outdoor café, where people meet for coffee in beautiful surroundings. The tourist information is our next door neighbour.

Our flat was finishd in Q1 2023. It is cosy, modern and in Scandinavian style. It is situated in the most cosy village in the Faroe Islands - Oyndarfjørður - surrounded by nature, yet central with 30 minutes drive to the capital and most places of interest in the country. The village is authentic surrounded by mountain and sea, with 5 min walk to the famous rocking rocks and many hiking tracks. It is easy to travel to other islands from here.

The kitchen and living room are combined in one room on the ground floor and the bedroom and bathroom are on the 1. Floor.

The home is a total of 20 m2, and is a room with kitchen and beds plus a modern bathroom with shower with plenty of hot water. There is a baking oven and hot plates, extractor hood. This is a beautiful and modern home with sweeping views of the village and surrounding mountains all the way down to the coast. For a group or family this home has a great amount of space, but with 9 beds there is only one bathroom so take that into consideration when booking with larger groups or families. For our group of 5, we were delighted. The radiant heat floors in the entryway were perfect for drying coats and boots after being out in the rain. The kitchen held all the essential tools needed to prep home meals. Overall, a great place and I would stay here again.

The location of the house was very central, very quiet, small village. The roads in front of the accommodation were fantastic for cycling with great views. Very well equipped kitchen with everything you need. The view from the bay window is always fascinating - depending on the light and weather. The balcony with a little sun is immediately cozy for sitting. Great!

We enjoyed our visit to Anita's little house. It is super cozy and is perfectly close to Gjógv's beautiful nature. We were lucky with the sun some of the days, so we could enjoy breakfast in the sun on the benches outside

Beautiful holiday home in a fantastic location if you like peace and nature. The view from the living room is gigantic. The house is well equipped and leaves nothing to be desired. Everything is very private and lovingly furnished. The landlords are very friendly and communicative.
