House holiday rentals in Glastonbury

This was the perfect spot for what we were looking for as my son graduated from Conn College. The host was very responsive to my questions and flexible with check in times which we needed. House was exactly what was described and we had a wonderful time. Thank you!!

I absolutely enjoyed my weekend here. The home is beautiful. Everything you could possibly need was provided In the home. Everything was clean, and neat. House is filled with light. The pool and hot tub were enjoyable. The host were amazing and had great communication, assisted us when needed right away. I would highly recommend staying here, and they are pet friendly which is always a plus for me. The yard is fenced in. Which made it easy to let the dog out, and great for the dog to explore. A++++ Will probably be back sometime In the future.

The pool house is so cute and the outdoor patio is gorgeous and the perfect place to relax. Great place to stay if you want to stay near New Haven but also want to enjoy quiet away from the city. Sue is a responsive and very generous host!

We had an amazing time at Marybeth’s suite—it truly felt like a winter wonderland. Our kids had a blast "swimming" in the snow and "rolling" over the gentle hills. Every moment was filled with joy, whether we were relaxing in the sunroom, playing in the snow, or swinging outside. The time spent together as a family, along with our conversations with Marybeth and her family, was truly precious. We can’t wait to return in the summer!

We LOVED: 1) The location! The driveway is long & sand/gravel but you could drive it in a sedan fine. 2) The amenities! The pack n play was a HUGE lifesaver! 3) This location is mostly child friendly. 4) The view is phenomenal! When we woke up & opened the curtains for the first time, we were in awe! 5) The host was extremely helpful. The hot water went out once, but she was over in 5 minutes to fix it. Some feedback: 1) The windows in the ceiling in the master bed! They're HUGE and BRIGHT. 2) The bugs. Ants. Spiders. It was a struggle. NOW I WILL SAY - I brought this up to the host on day 3 and they were more than willing to come help how they could. The house is located in the middle of the forest, but it was a lot. If it weren't for an m&m left under the nightstand in the bedroom by a previous guest, it probably wouldn't have been so bad. 3) the coffee maker was pretty rough when we got there.. a simple over site by the crew. Overall, I would definitely consider this location again

A great place for family and friends. Very roomy, open kitchen to living comfort with many places to sit and socialize while preparing meals. Nicely decorated and very comfortable accommodating furniture. All the amenities. Every bedroom a king size bed with some rooms offering even more sleeping spaces. The pool pristine, perfect temperature and seating for those chatting on the sidelines while others swam. A simple walk downtown. In many cases the walk downtown was quicker than the ride downtown. My family truly enjoyed this vacation. My grand daughter (4) loved the home. Everyone was comfortable and had a great time.. Jason friendly and available before, during and at close. I highly recommend this gem in Mystic, Connecticut.

House was great lots to do around the house and inside the house. We came to visit with some young ones and we had a great time. AJ was always responsive and very friendly. We would highly recommend if you are traveling with a family such as I did. We will be back next year to visit our cousins again. Thank you AJ for a great experience.

We really enjoyed our time at Elizabeth Jane's place. The home is spacious and quaint, with nice furnishings, a tasteful colonial feel and easy access to downtown Litchfield and the Berkshires. The bucolic setting is lovely - scenic, relaxing and peaceful.

Dian’s place was perfect for our small family vacation. Her home was set up beautifully with a tremendous amount of outdoor space. We were greeted by the cohost who was extremely helpful. We were even accommodated with indoor chairs to enjoy to night air under the stars. The neighbors were also very friendly and made sure to even tell us Good Morning when they saw us leaving out. Her home had everything we needed and looked just like the pictures provided. Thank you Dian and Omar for your hospitality.

We had a wonderful stay at this gorgeous lakehouse! Honestly, the pictures don't do the place justice. The lake was lovely, and the house was well-equipped and spotlessly clean. The furnishings and decorations were far nicer than you often find in an airbnb; it felt like a true home. Everything we could have possibly needed to enjoy the lake was provided, from canoes and kayaks to inner tubes, and the kitchen was well-equipped with all manner of cooking utensils and basic spices/condiments. Linda and Dick were great--very communicative and easy to get ahold of, but left us to our privacy otherwise. Would absolutely go back again!

My wife, friends, and I had an awesome time, and Thomas is very thoughtful. Second time renting from him, and last time I mentioned we made smores. For my wife, it was her first time. Guess what? He left us a smores kit! Thanks again, Thomas!

Mr. Andrew was great! Made sure we didn't go without. On my next trip I would LOVE to come back. I felt right at home.

me and kids was there for a mini getaway and everyone had their on bed which was dope a.f..my 10 yo nephew played on trampoline..for extended stay she has washer and dryer (we spent one night didn't use it) only complaint I have is when I took a shower it was a leaning curve with the water temp I couldn't figure the thing out my kid had to help me figure it out besides that place is great imo

We really enjoyed staying here, as it was just as described, in a terrific and convenient location, very well laid out, plenty of parking, with a wonderful updated kitchen and bathroom, and clean and comfortable. It had everything we needed in terms of kitchen utensils and a modern washer and dryer right off the kitchen. There was also lots of space to spread out when I needed to do work. It is also rare to find a king-sized bed for tall people! However, the other reviews about the traffic noise on the busy street out front are accurate, so bring earplugs if you are sensitive! We would be happy to stay at this place again in the future.

The place is so peaceful and gorgeous, almost like being in a nature preserve but not far from anything either. We saw deer, a fox, a heron, and lots of adorable chipmunks. It was the perfect place to stay during a graduation weekend where the town was bustling and we needed a place to decompress when not on campus. The lawn is simply stunning, and there are incredible views on the the pond and the sky from pretty much every room in the house. We were there during a wet spring and everything was green and fresh. It must be spectacular in the fall or during a snowy winter. Shawn is a super kind, attentive host. We hope to come back in 3 years for our next graduation! Thank you for letting us stay here!

When you get to the location, you could feel concerned about the area because of the old buildings around, and also when you get to the location you might feel it would not be a good stay, but immediately you open the door to get in you will be amazed 100%. Very clean, organized, smells so good inside. I was very very impressed. It feels just like home, the linens smells so fresh, you can still perceive the fragrance of the laundry detergent just so you know it was newly washed. I ENJOYED my stay.

Shawn created a special place here. Love all the details, especially the skateboards and music room. The hot tub was lovely after a long day of driving, I soaked again in the morning. ColecoVision console in the game room was so nostalgic along with a great selection of other games. I really enjoyed the grounds. Even wandered down to the dam/waterfall. My mother in law, son and wife all had their own space to stretch out. I could easily spend more time here, it is not just a place to lay your head for the night.

Caroline was extremely responsive to our questions and really friendly. Great location near quaint “main” street town of Manchester. Awesome backyard with fire-pit and ample seating Spacious bedrooms Games, snacks, water and coffee station were extremely thoughtful. We would definitely rent from her again.

Bryan and June’s place is peaceful and cozy, and the location by the river is spectacular. The kitchen was really comfortable, clean and usable with lots of cookware and nice quality dishes to eat off of; we easefully made multiple meals together and really enjoyed doing it - which isn’t always the case with Airbnbs. Both bedrooms are lovely, so if you’re in a group that needs both bedrooms, this is a rare find where EVERYONE gets “the nice room.” A rare find!! The beds are comfy and on the softer side, and should work great for 99% of people (they were just fine for my spouse and for our friend who traveled with us). IF you are someone who needs an especially firm and supportive bed due to back issues (my situation, sigh), they may not work for you. I’m only sharing that for anyone else in my very specific position, since I also rely on reviews for info like this!

Great space! Perfect location in the hart of West Hartford Center and Blue Back Square. The special touches were so thoughtful. Check in and out was easy too!

this place is magical. my sisters and I have stayed here twice now, for her wedding and now for mine. both times the home has been clean and the overall experience has been wonderful.

Chelsea was communicative and helpful about her beautiful house. It had all we needed, was well appointed, beautifully decorated and in a gorgeous natural setting. We spent time lounging in the living room as a family and it was so comfortable. Top notch! Grab this place now!

We stayed at Drene’s place for a wedding weekend with a couple of friends. Everyone really felt at home and we loved the place. We even extended for an additional day. Her kitchen had everything we needed to prepare something for ourselves, and the building is in a very calm neighborhood. We would stay there again whenever we’re in town.
