House holiday rentals in Glyfa

This place is fabulous. The accommodation is almost new and kept to a high standard. That view Wow! It’s difficult to prise yourself away from the Villa as it’s so comfortable sitting by the pool, soaking up the sun and having such a lovely villa with all of its amenities to hand. Kostas and Tammy are lovely friendly people, they were responsive and Kostas met us in the village upon arrival ( 2mins away) as finding the Villa would have otherwise been tricky. It’s up a hill and a good walk to the nearest bar / restaurant, so we found a car essential. Kostas recommended a local car hire company and they were fabulous 👍. Alan the cat is a bonus , so friendly , we felt obliged to keep him nourished. He’s not allowed inside the Villa but he is in no way a nuisance, just a lovely character. There are many bars and restaurants, some on the beach front and some in the village. Again car essential ( or local taxi). I would highly recommend this accommodation 👍

Tout était parfait dans cette villa ! Nous nous y sommes sentis comme à la maison avec tout le nécessaire à disposition et même des cadeaux de bienvenue ! Les 2 chambres avec chacune leur salle de bain et leur TV sont un vrai plus. Nous qui étions partis à 5 et qui faisions dormir bébé dans le salon, nous pouvions chacun avoir notre espace indépendant une fois bébé couché. Dommage qu'il n'y avait pas de lit parapluie sur place MAIS le propriétaire a proposé d'en déposer un une fois arrivés mais nous avions déjà prévu le nécessaire.. c'est bon à savoir pour les prochains ! Nous reviendrons avec plaisir.

Grossartig und entspannend! Sehr freundlicher Empfang und super Kommunikation via Chatportal von Airbnb. Frische Tomaten, Gurken und Aprikosen aus dem eigenen Garten und Eier von den eigenen Hühner. Für Nachschub war auch immer gesorgt. Die Aussicht ist Atemberaubend! Im Infinitypool konnte man sich wunderbar abkühlen. Dieser war stehts sauber und die Wassertemperatur immer sehr angenehm. Die Lage ist äusserst ruhig, will man auswärts Essen gehen- so erreicht man mit dem Auto in wenigen Minuten die Strandpromenade. Schön war auch, das es nicht so touristisch ist- man erlebt also eine sehr authentische atmosphäre. Empfehlenswert ist auch ein Ausflug nach Patras oder Nafpaktos. Beides sehr schön! Wie haben uns stehts sicher und willkommen gefühlt. Vielen Dank

J'ai absolument adorée cette villa ! Un bel accueil dès notre arrivé ! Il y avait tous et encore plus pour nous recevoir ! Beaucoup d'eau, bière, vin, glace, café ..... Tous était hyper propre ! La vue est extraordinaire avec un piscine de rêve pour observer le lever du soleil ! L'hôte Amalia répond immédiatement à tous vos questions ! N'hésitez pas à reserver cette villa parfaite pour deux ou un couple ! Deux salle de bain privé dans chaque chambre un gros luxe ! Merveilleux ! Merci !!

We had an amazing stay at this Airbnb! The house was exactly as described - luxurious, and spacious. The owner was incredibly responsive and always available to assist with any questions or needs, making the experience even smoother. Highly recommend :)

Die Villa Vissala ist einfach atemberaubend! Wir hatten in all unseren bisherigen Familienurlauben ohne Übertreibung noch nie eine so bezaubernde und besondere Unterkunft. Sybille und Eckhard waren als Gastgeber unglaublich freundlich, zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit. Wir haben uns extrem wohl gefühlt. Die Lage, Art und Ausstattung des Hauses ist vermutlich einzigartig. Vom riesigen Pool, den Terrassen unter Olivenbäumen und den Schlafzimmern aus hat man einen grandiosen Blick über die Insel, das Ionische Meer und das nördlich gelegene Kefalonia. Das allein ist für einen erholsamen Urlaub ausreichend & erfüllend. Im nördlichen Teil der Insel gelegen bietet das Haus aber außerdem die perfekte Lage, um die spektakulären Sehenswürdigkeiten von Zakynthos vom Land oder Wasser aus zu erreichen. Das Haus und der Garten ist sehr geräumig, sauber und liebevoll mit viel Stil und Geschmack eingerichtet - es fehlt an nichts. Alles ist lichtdurchflutet. Wir können die Villa Vissala nur empfehlen!

Wat een fantastische villa! Alles was perfect: het huis is ruim, stijlvol ingericht en superschoon. Het heeft een prachtig zwembad en op maar een paar minuten lopen van het strand. Sakis, de eigenaar, is supervriendelijk en gastvrij. Hij gaf ons meteen een warm welkom en stond altijd klaar voor tips of hulp. Wat extra fijn is: naast de villa zit het gezellige restaurantje van Sakis, waar Elena en Kostas je heel aardig ontvangen. We hebben er een aantal keer heerlijk gegeten. Voor ons was het een perfecte plek om tot rust te komen. Dankjewel Sakis. Wij komen terug!

民宿和照片一模一样，非常美丽。房东太太热情友好，还准备了葡萄酒和花环，太可爱了！房间设计现代又精致，充满惊喜。门口有很多店铺可以吃饭，还有个超市。因为户外，蚊虫会比较多，需要注意。

Amazing property! Loved the architecture and design of the place - tasteful decor. Enjoyed our stay here basking in the sun by the pool. Spacious rooms with lots of storage space - bathroom in each room was a huge bonus. Overall loved everything about the property and the host was very friendly and helpful.

Die Unterkunft war direkt am Meer und keine weiteren anderen Leute dort also hat man seine ruhe dort. Sehr nette Gastgeber die sehr hilfsbereit waren und schnell geantwortet haben. Können das AirBnB Sehr empfehlen und werden sehr wahrscheinlich wieder dort hin reisen.

We had an unforgettable stay at this nice beachfront home on the island of Pelenopes! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the panoramic ocean views—sunrises over the water never looked so good. The private path straight down to the soft, sandy beach made morning swims and sunset strolls effortless and magical. Inside, the house was spotless, beautifully furnished, and stocked with everything you could possibly need: a fully equipped kitchen, plush linens, fast Wi-Fi, and even beach towels and chairs. We loved curling up in the cozy living room after a day in the sun or enjoying a glass of wine on the shaded terrace. Also our hosts have been incredibly nice: they greeted us with warm local tips, checked in to make sure we were comfortable, and were genuinely kind throughout our stay—truly the perfect host. If you’re looking for a clean, comfortable, and charming beachfront escape—with a great host : We can highly recommend this place :)

From providing clear check-in instructions to promptly answering all our questions, and even offering great local travel tips – we felt genuinely cared for like friends. Unser Navi hat uns nicht ans richtige Haus geleitet, so dass wir uns von Stella, der Vermieterin telefonisch helfen lassen mussten. Sie spricht ein gutes englisch, so dass die Kommunikation immer geht. Die Familie betreibt die Bäckerei im Dorf neben der Tankstelle, ggf. wird von dort aus auch weitergeholfen. Auch mit Tipps für die Insel. Unsere drei Klimaanlagen haben einwandfrei funktioniert, wir haben sie besonders nachts gebraucht. In der Wohnung nebenan ist eine ausgefallen, bereits am Tag drauf wurde sie von Fachpersonal ausgetauscht. Für den Zugang zum Meer, das ja direkt am Grundstück mit unglaublichen Sonnenaufgängen punktet benötigt man Badeschuhe, da man über Felsen einsteigen muss. das geht aber problemlos und das Wasser ist klar und traumhaft. In der Küche hat uns ein kleiner Topf gefehlt, den haben wir sofort aus Stellas privater Küche bekommen. Der Kühlschrank ist groß, nimmt problemlos auch eine große Melone auf. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder!

Excellent value for price for a cottage with two bedrooms and a separate kitchen and bathroom which we found all as described and pictured in the photos. So certainly nothing for people who seek luxury but perfect for those who like the calm and basically a private beach that is gorgeous and who don’t need any frills. We would def come back!

Een prachtig huis waar we ons helemaal thuis hebben gevoeld! De ouders van Marilena wonen ernaast en waren ontzettend lief en kwamen elke dag wel wat lekkers brengen <3 Het bubbelbad is ook geweldig! In de buurt zitten niet veel voorzieningen maar met een auto is het een fijne uitvalsbasis. Er is veel reuring in de buurt: in de omgeving wonen veel honden en kippen die 's nachts ook lekker aan het kletsen zijn en op het land wordt vanaf 's ochtends vroeg veel gewerkt, voor ons was dit geen probleem! Als we nog een keer naar Zakynthos gaan, gaan we zeker weer langs Marilena!

Nous avons été accueillis de façon très chaleureuse, avec de petites attentions. Le cadre est absolument fabuleux. on a l'impression que la maison a été construite pour admirer le coucher de soleil ! Et nous avions accès à la plage privée. La maison est agréable, propre et confortable. Personne n'avait envie de quitter cet endroit idyllique.

I had a great stay at this Airbnb. The hosts were very kind and helpful, making me feel welcome. The accommodation was peaceful, providing a perfect place to relax. At the same time, it was conveniently located, allowing easy access to various places. I would recommend it.

Myself and my partner recently stayed here and what an amazing place it is. The villa itself is just like the pictures and is a secure gated and private place to spend a holiday relaxing and enjoying Kefalonia. It is only 20 minutes from the main city Argostoli and just up the road is supermarkets and restaurants. It is also very close to multiple beaches. It has some great views of the sea, Zakynthos and the mountains. It was spotless and had great facilities throughout ( fast WiFi, Netflix, multiple sun loungers, bbq area, perfect clean pool etc ) The hosts Anastasios and his sister Marilena were very welcoming upon arrival and showed us around the villa. They also left some local snacks/wine and provided us with recommendations for the island. They were also quick to respond to any queries. Overall we had a brilliant stay and couldn’t have asked for a better place. We will definitely be looking to stay here again when we return to Kefalonia!

Octopus Garden stands out as one of our all time favourite Airbnb locations! Ideal in every way! My son and I felt instantly at home! Agia Effimia is a tranquil, cozy village away from it all, yet Argostoli was an easy drive that we made several times to beauty spots on the other side of Kefalonia. The proximity to Sami was a massive plus, as there are tons of sights and lovely shopping. The house is spacious and had everything that one could possibly need. My son enjoyed having his own bedroom and bathroom. The wash machine was extremely handy. Thank you so much for leaving so many goodies for us. It was nice not to have to run out immediately for supplies and groceries. We didn’t do a lot of cooking, as the restaurants in town were amazing! Amalia and Cafe Fior D’amore were our go-to’s. I will miss doing my yoga on the terrace overlooking the bay and listening and to the morning song. We loved the sweet, black cat who always greeted us and shared our sun spots!

We were very lucky to stumble across this tranquil villa. From requesting to book to the point of checking out, Savvina was very helpful and swift with replying, with some great suggestions to certain things we wished to do. We were met by mama nena on arrival who showed us around the villa and made us very welcome, with the added kindness of some lovely homemade produce, the following day we were totally spoilt with the arrival of a delicious pie. The villa was in a quiet area, which we were looking for, with a very short drive to the nearest beaches/taverners. We took in some beautiful sunsets and an amazing sunrise at the villa. We most definately would return, the whole trip was a great success. A big thank you from myself and Gwen

If you have any doubts about renting this property, forget them!! world travellers & hands down the loveliest air bnb I've been in. Extremely clean, well maintained - just BEAUTIFUL. Exactly like the photos. The family have poured alot of love into the properties. We had the BEST trip & that's just the location and property. Add to that the wonderful family that host, they are kind, generous, communicative and honestly so lovely...like staying with family. I got emotional when we had to leave 😭. They left fresh eggs, bread,wine, olive oil, jams, honey etc. Great equipped kitchen & bbq area. After a day out we found beautiful cakes had been left in the fridge after they came to do pool maintenance. After hearing we had a bad time at a cafe they cheered us up with kebabs, fresh pittas & sausages from their butchers. So delicious!! This is a hilly area, if you have mobility issues check out their other beautiful property which also looks amazing. We will be back!Thank you so much guys!!

We really enjoyed our stay! The house was wonderful, and the view from the terrace during breakfast was absolutely gorgeous. We felt very welcome and would definitely recommend staying here to anyone visiting Poros.

We had a lovely stay. It was nice to be away from busy Zakynthos town but still able to easily walk there. Host was always easy to reach and the mother was a gem. Like staying with family :)

We had a really lovely stay at the Endless Blue House. The house was perfect - big comfortable bed, beautiful private garden, and the BBQ and Hot Tub were great additions. Having immediate access to the stunning crystal clear blue sea was incredible and much needed. Shops and tavernas in Sami are only a 5/10 minute walk away along the adjacent path, with a variety of excellent food on offer. Pantazis was an excellent host - would highly recommend hiring one of his motor boats to explore the coast and nearby beaches. Overall a great holiday.
