A quiet base for Koyasan, Yoshino, and Asuka; a place to come back to at day's end. ・1.5 hours from Osaka ・50 min to Koyasan (UNESCO World Heritage) ・30 min to Mt. Yoshino (cherry blossoms; autumn colour) ・25 min to Asuka (World Heritage, listed 2026) Renovated inside, with the original beams kept, and a garden for fire and barbecue. Gojo's 400-year-old Edo-period street is still lived-in, untouched by mass tourism.

This guesthouse is located on the grounds of the former Hirohashi Elementary School.The building, formerly a teacher's residence, was renovated into a guesthouse. The bath is a traditional Japanese wood-fired bath. You can experience heating water with firewood. ■The house can accommodate up to 10 people. ■No meals are included.There is no supermarket within walking distance. "A Co-op" 15 minutes by car. "Life" and "Okuwa" 20 minutes by car. ■It's cold until around March.Please be warm.

The building is 150~200 years old, but It has fully renovated in 2022 and is clean. allowing residents to truly rest in a quiet area far removed from their daily lives. The facility is located in a traditional building county preservation area, and the area around the facility is tasteful, with streets reminiscent of the Edo period.

「万葉の人々が愛した景勝の地」 世界遺産であり、「日本一の桜の名所」とも言われる有効明媚な万葉の里、吉野にある小さな集落・宮滝。この宮滝にはかつて「吉野宮」という天皇の離宮があり、「壬申の乱」が起こった歴史深い場所でもあります。万葉集にはこの宮滝の景勝を称えた歌がたくさん収められています。 そして清流・吉野川が流れるこの地は関西圏屈指の川遊びスポットとして知られており、夏休み期間はたくさんの川遊び客で賑わいます。 その宮滝で番傘・提灯の職人として祖父母が長年暮らしてきた築100年の古民家を改装し、「ちょうちんの宿」として復活させることにしました。 「遊べる川まですぐ」という立地を活かした、複数の世帯や友人同士など多人数でも使いやすい宿です。 歴史や自然の息吹を感じながら吉野観光・川遊びやBBQの拠点として使って頂ければ幸いです。 中庭にはプライベートサウナと水風呂（タライ）を設置。サウナ好きの皆様も是非、皆様でお越しください。

Our house is traditional Japanese style house. 150 years old and in a very quiet location. We are renting house. Not shared with other guests. There are 2 bedrooms(Tatami-room) and 1 living room, gameroom, bathroom, shower toilet, all of the room are only for you. *Children is free of charge if your children don't need a bed and break fast. There are air conditioners in bedroom and livingroom.
