The house is located near the train station Burglauenen just before Grindelwald and is therefore easily accessible by public transport. Free parking available.

The studio is located in the upper part of Biel, Canton of Valais, now part of the municipality of Goms. Goms is renowned for cross-country skiing tourism in winter and, in summer, for the Goms hiking paradise. The studio is about a 15-minute walk from the cross-country ski trail and the train station. Gadestatt is a traditional Maiensäss. A Maiensäss is a cultural peculiarity of Swiss history. These simple but beautiful wooden buildings used to be inhabited on the Alps during the summer.
