Penhalt 12 Cottage,Penstowe Kilkhampton,Bude

IanRating, 5 stars3 months ago
We had a great stay visiting friends in Kilkhampton. Everything about the property was as described. The kitchen was modern and well equipped. The TV is large and sofas comfy. The beds were comfortable. I slept in the room with two single beds and had to put them together as they were quite narrow and more suitable for children. The shower is very good- hot and powerful. Parking is easy and convenient. My mother could not access the shower which is within the bath, so worth considering accessibility if this is a factor for future guests reading this- my bad to be honest. Electricity uses a pay-as-you-go meter. Top-up cards are available from the nearby holiday complex office (3 minute walk from the property). However it is only open for 3 hours a day in the afternoon and not Sundays. We stayed during a very cold week in March and spent £55 on electricity for the week as we had to use the elec heaters a fair amount which was quite alarming! No doubt it would be alot cheaper in summer

Coastpath Studio Retreat

KimberleyRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
The home was better then the pictures. A piece of heaven away from home. The scenic views are surreal, and there is nothing like waking up in the morning opening the door to those views. And a short stroll further and your looking over the beach. Amazing. Service and communications from host were amazing. Hill the first time you do it, looks and feels ten times worse then it actually is. And if you actually drive a car that was made post 2000 its even easier. Only room for improvement [and this is clutching at straws] is the airbnb is remote (especially in the eyes of a city dweller like me) so more condemants available like salt, pepper, oil to cooks with. And a bit more clarity over what utensils will be available to cook with so you can plan meals. But again this is literally scratching at utter perfection. If your thinking of booking. Book.

Barn @ Ivyleaf Barton - character cottage

JackRating, 5 stars13 months ago
I stayed at Jenny's beautiful cottage with a friend and my 2 dogs and absolutely loved our time here. We stayed for 7 nights and explored the vast plethora of beaches and coastal walks that were all within a 15 minute drive of Niki's cottage. The cottage was extremely clean and decorated nicely. The kitchen was well equipped and the living space was cosy and comfy, also a nice touch was the electric fireplace that heated the downstairs perfectly on the colder evenings. The bathroom was spacious, clean and plenty of room for toiletries. The rooms were also cosy and comfy and had big dressers and draws to store clothes in. The garden was amazing having a patio that catches the sun late mornings perfect to have breakfast outside and a fairly large grassy area which the dogs loved and were able to play on during our stay, with a stunning view of the golf course all the way down to the seafront. Jenny had great communication and was very helpful. Thank you for our stay!

Stable Hartland Holiday Barns

EuanRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
We had a lovely stay at the Holiday barns. We had everything we needed to make us feel like at home. You can tell that Toni and Nigel take a lot of pride in their business as the barn was spotless and so well kept! They also made us feel very welcome and they had even left treats for us to enjoy during our stay. The location is very peaceful and close to amazing nature beauty spots. We visited Buck's Mills, Clovelly, Hartland, Hartland Quays, Speke's Waterfall. All in all, a fantastic break.

We had a lovely stay at the Barn! It's very comfortable and has a well equipped kitchen. It's an easy walk to the Coast Path so was a great base to explore the area from. Chris was very friendly and sent clear instructions about our stay.

Luxurious 2 Bedroom Apartment With Epic Sea Views

LeanneRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Andrew was very helpful and his home was beautifully presented. Parking is super easy, it's clean, the balcony is great and what I also loved was the equipment for families. I didn't need them as I wasn't with my children. But there was a highchair, kids crockery and cutlery and buckets and spades. The rooms are very spacious, the kitchen appliances work great and the welcome package was really appreciated. I would very much recommend Andrew's home for any trip to Bude. it has lovely views of the beach, golf club and cricket ground. you're away from the hussle and bussle, although a five minute walk away from it. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay.
