The Carriage House: Beautiful Farmland Views.

The Carriage House is the second floor of our cedar stables that was turned into an apartment years ago. It was completely redone this spring and professionally decorated to make it a cozy + luxe retreat with views to die for. While we no longer use the stables to house animals we still keep a few head of cattle + sheep in the pasture for your enjoyment. The wall of windows along the back of the apartment offer you the most stunning views of the surrounding farmland and an unforgettable sunrise.

Dutch Wonderland, Sight and Sound Theater, Historic Strasburg, and the Village of Intercourse are among the many attractions nearby. Property has a large, rear, fenced yard that is perfect for kids. Pets allowed on a case by case basis with an extra fee, if approved. Phone and email inquiries received on Sunday will be returned on Monday.

The second half of a beautiful sprawling townhouse with some of the most idyllic views in the area. It is directly next to farmland and pastures (typically home to goats or horses) and has a beautiful backyard and screened in porch. Equipped with a grill this is perfect for a relaxing vacation, but should you choose to go out you're located just outside of the popular town of Intercourse so you'll be close to all the local attractions while staying in the country. Truly a FANTASTIC home!

We stayed at Elmer’s place for only one night. But it was definitely worth it and will be coming back for a longer period of time next time. We haven’t had the chance to use the firepit since it was raining. However, all the other amenities were well-kept and clean. The bed was extremely comfortable. Elmer is very nice and responsive host. We visited one of the restaurants she recommended (Agapē), everything was so delicious. I’d definitely recommend this place for a getaway.

This is a very nice place to stay. Close proximity to a lot of different things we wanted to do. Very convenient and comfortable! Loved the fresh flowers she leaves in the rooms and the Lindt Lindor Chocolates, such a sweet and thoughtful thing to do!

The house met our needs perfectly. It was beautiful and well appointed. We enjoyed the spacious family room, kitchen, and master bedroom. The location was very convenient for many local activities. We will definitely stay here again when we return to the Lancaster area.

Enjoy Sunsets, Swingset, and Fenced Yard

Best Airbnb we've ever stayed in! We can't say enough about how lovely this house and yard were. Our toddler LOVED the playground. There were train books galore, everything was SO clean and the furnishings/details of the house were gorgeous. My husband is going to lust after the giant living room tv for years to come. We were close to the Thomas the Tank Engine experience, as well as Cherry Crest farm, both of which we did with our toddler, but when we asked him what his favorite thing was he said "the beds" because he loved rolling across the fluffy comforters. This was a great place to stay as a family. We used the kitchen and the outdoor spaces a lot and didn't want to leave at the end of our long weekend. We're hoping we can stay here again next year!

My husband and I enjoyed our stay at Martha and Ervin’s place. The location was perfectly nestled near all of our favorite Lancaster spots (Kitchen Kettle, The Smokehouse Restaurant, Linden Coffee, Lapp Valley Farms + Ice Cream, and so much more!). While conveniently located, Martha and Ervin’s place provided plenty of privacy in a peaceful area. We look forward to staying here again and highly recommend it for your next Lancaster stay!
