It is wonderful to spend the night in the old fortress of beautiful Gorinchem. You have the lower floor with bedroom and bathroom, all to yourself, with its own entrance. I live above it myself. From the apartment you can walk into the city for a bite or a drink. You can also get on the shore for a round of fortress and it is a nice starting point for all kinds of activities in the region. Welcome to our “bakhuisje”: a national monument from +- 1700. The house is cozy and comfortable; living downstairs, bed is upstairs on the mezzanine. It has a cozy electric fireplace and a comfy couch. The bathroom has everything needed. Kitchenette (without cooking) with small fridge + coffee/tea and a beautiful view (vegetable garden, greenhouse, fruit trees). Of course WiFi and a workplace. Beautiful surroundings for walking/cycling and a small sandy beach in the river at 2 minutes walking.

Cozy and private studio, 15 minutes from centre

Nice room with your own bathroom with shower and toilet. There's no real kitchen but there is a fridge and combination microwave. You have your own entrance and behind the room is a large public grass field you can use as your garden. After a 3-minute walk, you'll reach a few shops and the bus stop, from there the bus takes you in 10 minutes to the central station. Bicycles are not available anymore. Parking in the neighborhood is free and there's enough space.
