Cottage by the Lake

Set on 50 acres of farmland, this unique property boasts 2 large lakes with row boats - kayaks and beautiful gardens, abundance of wildlife and a serene and peaceful ambience. Your hosts, Ann & Kevin live in the main house, about 100 metres from the lake-side cottage and are available if needed, or can be very discreet. You have free access to all of the property, with lovely walks and farm animals to interact with. The property is 5 min from Hanging Rock and 15 mins from Kyneton, and Woodend.

Leave the city behind for the peace & quiet of this secluded vineyard escape with a wood heater, morning sun and bush views. You'll have a private separate dwelling with a sun filled kitchen, benchseats, large bedroom with wood heater & vineyard views. Upton Hill Cottage is a self-catering cottage 20 minutes drive into the hills east of the Hume Freeway. It is surrounded by vineyards, cherry orchards, pastures & bushland. At 475m ASL the cottage has panoramic views of the Strathbogie Ranges & Goulburn Valley. Guests can meet the livestock, ramble, birdwatch, cycle, observe native flora & fauna, fish, do scenic tours, marvel at the ancient granite formations of the unique Strathbogie batholith, & enjoy local wineries, music & restaurants.

An EXTRA 4 ppl can be accommodated externally to the main house. The A frame hut sleeps two (unheated). An additional 2pp riverside bungalow room with french doors and it’s own deck by the river. Book for 8 people to unlock all rooms. No pets, no parties or camping. Quite after 12am.
