I came to Goves in the off season, knowing that most things would be shut, so it was important to have place that I could cook a meal and be really comfortable and really relax, and this was exactly what I got. The hosts were amazing, and so generous with the welcome package, it made the day so special. I will definitely be back. if you want to really chill, have a bit of a digital detox, get back in touch with nature then this is the place for you!

This property is on the top of our list of all of the Super-host level properties we’ve been at whether Air B&B or any other platform. Premium quality and high marks for design aesthetics promoting maximum relaxation inside or in the yard with breathtaking views all day long and spectacular sunsets. All meals at the property must be had out doors! It was a perfect retreat after long days of sightseeing. We would rent it again in a heartbeat and will recommend it to family. John & Autumn

The villa is clean, well stocked, and spacious. Simos was incredibly responsive and great to communicate with. The area is lovely, with a few excellent restaurants in walking distance, wineries and olive farms really close, and Knossos Palace also a short drive away. It’s a great place to unwind and the proximity to the Heraklion airport is also a bonus if you’re flying off the island.

May 2025, 10 nights stay for three (2 adults, 1 toddler). Villa is really fantastic. Beautiful view of the sea and the bay. It offers plenty of space for more people (2 couples, 4-6 friends, 2 families) and for longer stays (storage space, cupboards and shelves, etc.). The furnishings correspond to the description and offer, even in the kitchen, everything you need. Our highlight was the covered terrace. Our flight was moved up at short notice. A significantly earlier check-in was no problem at all in our case. Stelios is a very friendly, helpful and dedicated host. We recommend him and his villa without reservation. Small restriction: the accommodation is a bit off the beaten track or the region is a bit scattered (mainly due to the geography of the terrain). Without your own car, it will be a bit difficult in our opinion. However, there is a free parking space directly at the house.

We can only agree with the many positive reviews. We had a great time in the beautiful mountain village – it was a special experience. Every morning we had breakfast on the roof terrace and enjoyed the tranquility. At first we thought the sea would be missing, but that wasn't the case at all. We really came to rest – walks in the area were enough for that. Actually, we planned to do more, but we enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere so much that we took it easy. Nevertheless, we were traveling by car and made some nice excursions, including to the coast, where we discovered great restaurants. A vacation that will stay with us in very good memory. A well designed and furnished apartment perfect for a few nights in Heraklion.

Place is right next to a pedestrian walk with lots of nightlife. (But far enough away that there are no noise issues.

Beautiful small apartment with everything you need. A breathtaking view from to both sunrise and sunset - absolutely stunning! Great terrace as well. this was an unexpected Oasis -- it is a family-owned compound, though family members were nearly invisible, offering help but allowing LOTS of privacy. There is a constant breeze in this remote place, and we were happy NOT to have a car so that we understood the property and the 25 minute walk that separates it from the busyness of Heraklion. we sometimes walked down the hill for dinner or to take the bus to town, but ultimately cooking and eating on the patio (and enjoying the pool after the trek home) were treasured activities after the crowds of Athens and even the Heraklion cruise people. Wish we had stayed longer-- few places we have planned in Crete offer this private and comfortable outdoor space. This family is special. 💕

I don't have enough words to express what a great time we had at Christina's apartment. The location is only a 10 min walk from the beach, a 5 min walk from the main road with the shops. The apartment is sparkling clean and so full of light, and the terrace is so much bigger than we expected. Christina is a lovely host, very friendly, always there for us whenever we needed anything. She noticed we were taking a long route to get to the beach and she saved us a lot of time by pointing us in the direction of the secret tunnel :) She also accommodated our early check in and late check out needs and was overall a perfect host. We hope to see her again next year :)

Tasos is an extremely welcoming host. When we arrived late, we found a generously stocked fridge and freezer. Fruits, jams, rusks and cold and hot drinks were waiting for us. And Tasos was absolutely adorable to make our stay easier. We really appreciate it. Her apartment is very nice , the jacuzzi and the beautiful view make it a rare find. We highly recommend this rental, even more appreciated thanks to the many details Tasos has thought of.

Great location in the heart of town. We had an incredible night staying here and being able to explore the local neighbourhood. Lots to do around the unit. We found parking within a block that was free street parking and didn’t mind carrying luggage up the stairs to the unit. The balcony is surprisingly private even though there is a neighbour across the way. Thank you for hosting!! 🌟 🌟

Sofia and her dad Giorgos were great hosts, from meeting, explaining and taking the time to make great recommendations to checking in often, very much appreciated! We loved Iraklio (and Heraklion) and the flat had what the 4 of us needed to enjoy our stay. We spent our mornings and evenings on the decks and loved eating outside and drinking beverages. The recommendation for the Peskesi farm to table restaurant was spot on! The restaurant/cafes options in walking distance of the flat are plentiful and every place we tried was good. We walked everywhere, and took a city bus to the wonderful beach by the airport and the ferry excursion to Santorini one day. The archaeological museum is a stand out, and the history museum and Venetian Fortress were also great sites. Ended up skipping Knossos as the artifacts found were in the archaeological museum, so no opinion on that. We shall return to Crete some time and when staying in the area would gladly book with Sofia!

We stayed one night. This bnb has a nice big balcony with views of the hills and mountains. You’re close by to restaurants and night life of the city which we loved to walk through. Host provided recommendations for dinner and cafes across different budgets. If we had to stay two nights, we certainly would not have minded staying here again. Also, this bnb is on a very quiet street in an elevator building.

The accommodation offered a spectacular sea view, which made every morning a special experience. The apartment was modern and extremely clean, which immediately ensured well-being. I was particularly impressed by the helpfulness of the owner. At my request, the towels were promptly renewed, and when an unexpected sandstorm arose, he immediately took care of cleaning the accommodation. The location was ideal, with many restaurants and shops nearby. The beaches were breathtaking, and I enjoyed swimming in the crystal-clear water. The local Go providers were extremely helpful and gave me valuable tips that enriched my stay. Communication was straightforward, as they spoke fluent English. Overall, it was an unforgettable vacation that I can recommend to everyone.
