I really appreciate the day I spent in this lovely house. Everything is prepared pretty well and the landlord is friendly. There is a beautiful garden outside, and the view of the house is quite good! Breakfast is superb! Definitely a 100 out of 10!

Still the most beautiful Airbnb I’ve stayed in. Nothing like waking up to glorious woodland and the beautiful sound of birdsong, followed by a tasty breakfast. Tony and Carolyn are the most welcoming and fun hosts too, with lots of helpful local advice. The whole experience was so wonderful that I’m heading back there in three days time!

Kaye was an incredibly attentive, caring and helpful host who went above and beyond to ensure our stay was the best it could be. She lives in the house but of course lets us go about our day and is always up for a good conversation, too. She gave us great recommendations about what to do around the Laugharne and wider areas. The breakfast was also delicious every morning. If you want a rejuvenating and cosy country getaway in Wales, look no further than staying with Kaye at Powis Cottage! I can honestly recommend a stay at the Shed without any hesitation at all. It's comfortable, very contemporary and squeaky clean. Lynne met me on arrival, she was very friendly helpfully showing me around, told me how things worked and describing the local area before leaving me to settle in. The lovely comfort of the Shed is enhanced by the convenient extras thoughtfully provided by Lynne such as the unexpected welcome pack, an emergency sewing kit, first aid kit, local guides, dvds and many more. The Shed's location was perfect for my walks, sightseeing and just chilling. Thank you Lynne I hope I get the chance to stay in the The Shed again soon.

Lovely place. Really nice hosts, house is really cared for and you really feel like the twists are the most important people there. Great bed, shower, warm, really nice breakfast too.

We had a lovely stay, if only for 2 nights this time, with Howard and Grace earlier this week. They were very welcoming, the room was just as described, and we had a very relaxing stay in their house. Everything went just to plan and as expected. Howard was very prompt to respond to the few messages I sent and I felt at ease and that all would be good. A hearty breakfast each morning and an excellent packed lunch provided on the day we went to Skomer Island to see the puffins, 3rd time lucky for us and we were not disappointed with anything. If we are in the area in the future we wouldn't hesitate to request to stay againl

Wow!!! We will definitely be visiting again. I cannot praise the estate owner and everyone who works there highly enough. The place is a spot of heaven.

When we arrived, at first it was not clear which building it was; however, the pub landlady pointed me in the right direction, to the pink house, which was labelled Raymonds B&B. The host (Paul) was lovely and accommodating. As my partner and I were parkrunning on the Saturday morning, breakfast was provided much earlier and packed in bags for us. The surrounding area/village is beautiful, recommend the Cross Inn for food and drinks, plus Tenby is about a 30 minute walk away or 4 minutes on the train.

3 nights in one of the most beautiful places I have ever visited. Sian was the perfect host, always happy to help when needed and gave us so many recommendations to ensure we made the most of our time in Laugharne. Seaview is not only the former home of Dylan and Caitlin Thomas which makes it amazing in itself, Sian has decorated it so beautifully. Breakfast was plenty! Lots of cereals, toast, pastries, fruit, cold meats and cheese…set us up perfectly for the day. We stayed in Caitlin’s room and it was lovely. Stayed really cool in the hot weather we had and the bed was super comfy. As for Laugharne itself, Dylan Thomas wasn’t lying when he said there is nowhere else like it. The people are the nicest you could meet, the view of the estuary is just breathtaking. We paid a visit to the landmarks too, the boathouse, castle and the gorgeous St Martin’s church. Food wise, there is plenty to choose from but definitely pay a visit to Browns! Thank you Sian for an unforgettable stay.

The home is close to the university in Carmarthen. It is very peaceful there with great views. The room I selected was en suite. Bed was very comfortable and I was served a lovely breakfast. I made a substantial saving on places to stay in Carmarthen town. I'm one happy customer & will certainly go back.

Our stay far exceeded our expectations. The house is just as described, except it’s much nicer in person. It is tastefully furnished to complement the beauty of the historic building. The rooms are very spacious and tastefully furnished, the bathrooms have been renovated to the newest standards, one with a shower and the other with a lovely bathtub. The property is immersed in the countryside and the lovely surroundings provide for peaceful long walks. Dieter cooked us breakfast as per our wishes and his cooking restored my faith in the true meaning of the word breakfast. Something very noteworthy: we had to check out very early to get to our train, and Dieter and Philippa cooked us breakfast at 6am. Additionally, they volunteered to drive my son to the train station for his later train, so he wouldn’t have to call a cab. It was truly an exceptional experience. Highly recommended, we will be back for a longer stay.

Natalie's place is a spot of heaven! The room is spacious and light with a big bathroom, comfortable bed and an adjacent study room. She provided a delicious breakfast and since we were there for Other Voices she gave us tips and recommendations for the local area and Cardigan, and even lent a torch for our evening walk back. The view is stunning and great for birdwatching. Thanks for having us!

We couldn't have found a nicer Airbnb to explore the southwest of Wales. Rachel and her family were excellent hosts and the room was spacious, very comfortable and everything was spotlessly clean. We very much enjoyed our time and would have no hesitation in returning should the opportunity arise.

Very comfy place, clean and peaceful. Beautiful village of Camrose. Karen is a great host, ensures her guests are well taken care of. Breakfast was a nice touch, fresh figs, thanks Karen!

We had a lovely two nights at Pistyll Meigan. It's set in the beautiful Pembrokeshire countryside and around 10 minutes drive to Cardigan. We were met by Julian when we arrived who gave us a tour of his wonderful home and offered us tea and cake in the sitting room after our journey! We were in the en+suit room which had amazing views and a huge very comfy bed! Breakfast each morning was a delicious continental style spread. Julian and his partner couldn't have been more welcoming providing suggestions about where to go and always being around if we needed anything.

Anita is a super host in more ways than one. We were made especially welcome and nothing was too much trouble. She’s a lovely individual and accommodated our every need, went out of her way to do so. Stunning views from our bedroom window. The area is lovely, walks, waterfalls, caves and more, right on your door step. We’ll be going again!

Lovely escape in the Welsh countryside. A barnhouse cottage dream, full of flowers and fruits and beautiful plants. A trampoline and badminton and lots of games give you plenty to do. Fresh bread and table setting laid out for us each morning. Lovely lovely people who live on the property - could not recommend this place more highly! Cardian has great restaurants nearby, and a close walk to one of Wales most beautifully rated beaches by the National Trust. Will be back soon!

We already loved the pub from previous visits and when Steve showed us the newly refurbished accommodation late last year we knew that we could book with confidence. We had a great day at bike park wales, Steve allowed us to put the (jet washed) bikes in the kitchen area for safe keeping and we made the most of the pub enjoying some live music and the best Guinness in Troed! We will be staying again!
